This is a beautiful dish. It is very heavy and the little ornate decoration is gorgeous! It looks like a vintage dish. I absolutely love it and would recommend purchasing it. It’s not as large as a great big one but was perfect for me.

I love this bowl, its decorated and good for everything and go straight to table for dessert !

I wanted a trifle that didn’t have cut crystal for washing (most things that go in trifles arnt exactly fun to get out of crevices lol). It’s a great size! A little smaller than 9 inches inside which means my 9 inch round baking pans made cakes that slot in ease within the trifle for layered cakes, the thick glassware and stem make me feel like when I pick it up and set it down it’s not going to snap 🫰 instantly 😅 or be easily disturbed on the table. In fact it actually fell over because my husband wasn’t paying attention and it was fine. Now I wouldn’t play football with it, it’s glad especially since it’s so thick it could be dangerous but I think I will get use out of it for years to come 🥰 which is usually why I buy used/vintage cookware but this seems quite good.Puddings, layer cakes, diced fruit arrangement, snacks, mayhaps a punch or salad if you like but because it doesn’t have a lid I would not suggest taking it to go or any garden party outside a sunroom or screened in porch if you have that sort of nice place. I just wanted something for layer cakes and puddings because my husband and friends like them and I have a nostalgia from my great grandmother always putting those dishes in a trifle, if you wanted something for those sorts of things this trifle can also do that and look kind of nice if you’re feeling a need to make dinner more special.(Sorry can of biscuits for scale it’s all I could think of lol 😂)

This is beautiful - just the right balance between too plain and too ornate. It's also a nice medium size - plenty large enough but not huge. I can't wait to try it out! One odd note: The exterior box (the shipping box) was quite dented and wasn't even marked "FRAGILE" - very odd. Fortunately the interior box protected it, and it's in perfect condition.

My daughter asked for a marzipan strawberry trifle for her birthday this year I've had my eye on this trifle bowl for a while and it turned out perfect! Just the right size,sturdy and heavy! This is expensive for a bowl but it is excellent quality and very sturdy and weighty. Been in the dishwasher and eashes up lovely. It is perfect for trifles or even as a feuit bowl as it very large. Lovely centre piece for the table.

This is a robust trifle dish - but it isn't a compromise between thick moulded glass and a finer alternative; used it first at Christmas and it drew compliments - made me wonder why I hadn't bought one before. It's a good size taking a trifle made with two pints of jelly and two cartons of custard - about 10 good portions. I don't think you'd want to make a small trifle that didn't fill the depth because it would look wrong but for a table of trifle lovers this is perfect.

Stunning bowl. Bought it for M-i-l for Christmas & gave it to her with a trifle in it. Looked stunning... wish I had taken pictures!Was very reluctant to part with it.

Sorry to give 1 star i couldn't really see the bowl properly because broken in pieces but it looked decent thickness unfortunately still glass & breaks if not handled with care
