I absolutely love this front bicycle basket! It’s folding, detachable, and has a quick-release system that makes it so easy to take on and off. For such a low-priced item, this one is incredibly high quality, especially compared with the garbage options from competitors. I had low expectations. The materials and construction are top quality. The ability to quick detach is awesome, although I feel like that mechanism could have been done slightly better. The metal bar well shaped and finished. The bar attachment adapter well thought out and engineered and allowed me to easily reattach my front light from the handlebars forward to the front of the basket. The basket has been further thought out for how it is carried (handles) and has little rubber feet to set it down. The integrated rain enclosure is well done, except my dog is definitely going to chew the rope closure to bits because it is stored inside the basket. There is also a safety latch for attaching the dog leash or otherwise securing something else inside, but that also could be a risk of something that your dog goes to chew up. I will note that I had to adjust the "tilt screw" to its maximum and there is still a slight back lean, but I think that might be appropriate and intentional. This basket is great. Easy to attach to front of a bike. Snaps into place. I used it to take my senior dog on bike rides. She was older and I wanted to give her the best life I could. I felt she was safe in the basket. It was deep for her, so I used a thick towel to get her up high enough for her to see. The basket was sturdy and secure. Highly recommend for very mild mannered dogs.

I have an old school bike and the handle bar is connected by the middle so it was hard for me to figure out how to get it on but the basket itself is pretty easy to assemble and my dog loves it. the tether in the bottom was a must for me and its functions well.

Not compatible with all bikes so make sure to check before buying. My mini dachshund is 7.5 lbs so this works well with her. There is a dog harness attachment which works great.
