Great quick connect. Purchased this to replace another generic one that came with my compressed gas hose that only lasted a week. This has been connected and working without fail for about 6 months now.

These are garbage. They will not work on a pcp tank. These are same type fittings you would use on air tools. They are hollow so air will come out of whatever you fill up as soon as you disconnect them.Crappy description by the seller will be returning.

I was just filling a little spare are type bottle (SEA/HEEDS) and had to rig up a fill adapter. The dive shop was able to get it filled but it took two people to constantly try and keep this aligned.So I took the female half of this and tried to lock it onto their 1/8 male, it would go on, but never lock in place. The male have (as stated above) would insert and lock into their female side but would wobble so much it felt like it was about to blow apart under pressure.When you look at what they had and what I had you can see the collar (the wider metal ring near the tip of the insert) was obviously smaller. Side by side you could see their collar was almost 1/3 longer than this item. The two parts make work with each other, but it does not seem like they will work with the rest of the industry.
