Pleasantly surprised!
We live in a walkable neighborhood in a big city and use our strollers more than our car. I researched double strollers for years before purchasing the duet for my 2nd & 3rd child. When my 2nd came along I bought an uppa baby Cruz with a riding board. My three year old either walked or rode on the riding board or occasionally rode in the stroller while I wore the baby. For my third child I knew I needed more than the Cruz because our new neighborhood had rougher sidewalks & the riding board would get stuck and the stroller was very awkward to push with the riding board down-you have to lean over or walk with short strides because it blocks your normal stride. I decided against in-line doubles like the uppa baby vista and the city select because they were just so big & are very bulky to push & maneuver. My husband dislikes kids sitting so close to the ground so we were not considering a Phil & teds like set up where the kid is just inches away from the ground. We are pleasantly surprised by how nice the duet is. Things we love...a) air filled 10" tires mean a smooth ride-definitely smoother than our friends' double vistas & britax b ready; we think they'll do well in snow & slushb) lay flat seats means our 1 month old can ride (i'm not sure what the official advice is but we just lay the seat back put a swaddle blanket over the straps and lay her in there, there's a little netting that you can fold up to contain the space a little bit and it's a cozy little nest- very bassinet like-without purchasing anything extra). Lay flat also means our 2.5 year old can rest more comfortably than in a bucket seat where your body is always in the same crunched position. And lay flat is great when there's no child in there! A nice deep pocket for groceries-again no need to purchase anything extra.c) the size! We love the compact size the footprint is just a little bit bigger than our Cruz. We are not hogging the aisles or the sidewalk or struggling to get the angle just right to get through a doorway. The stroller weight is really reasonable even though it's just over 30 pounds- it feels very light I think it's just the way that it's balanced.d)Little extras like the wrist strap and the handlebar brakee) removable seat pad-so easy to remove & Machine washable. Love. I am tempted to buy an extra in another color so that I can have one on the stroller while I'm washing one.F) I know people are worried their children won't fit in it but unless your child is very large for their age I recommend this. My six year old is just shy of 40 pounds and is 44"-she squeezed in & enjoyed it. Obviously I wouldn't recommend it for a child this size but that gives you a sense of what it can handle. It is recommended for children up to four but I think many four-year-olds could fit, especially for shorter rides.

Hard to find this in the US- awesome twin stroller!!
Excellent stroller- reasonably priced for the quality, true TWIN stroller with fully reclining seats, adapter accommodates a Graco- not just the very expensive carseats, and the double bassinet is the icing on the cake!! Light compared to many double strollers and fits through a 28" doorway!! Only stroller to have a hand brake. The con is- the seats are smaller and not as structured than the stroller I chose. Would like it to last for a few good years...

Poor quality
We have been using the mountain buggy duet for four months. One tire keeps going flat, even though we keep refilling it with air. The canopy has slipped out of place within two weeks of use. The handle bar is made of foam and is also ripping apart.I’m very disappointed in the purchase, I wanted it to last at least two years.

Great stroller!!!
This is an amazing stroller! We’ve never had an issue with the tires. We’ve had it for two years and maybe had to refill them twice.I bought this for a 1 & 3 year old and as still use it for long walks 2 years later. It rolls like a dream. It’s a little heavy but it glides so we’ll it really isn’t a bother. One of our best purchases.I would say if you did have issues with the tires - email mtn buggy. There was one piece missing when our box arrived and they shipped it to us immediately- no questions asked, no proof of receipt. Very responsive.

I do love this stroller but the wheels are pathetic.
I love this stroller. It is absolutely the most perfectly sized side-by-side double stroller on the market. The seat is much softer than any competitor. It has an adjustable footrest for forward facing babies, which most strollers don' t have. The handle bars adjust easily. It maneuvers like a dream. And there's plenary of headroom for my 3-year-old in the 50th percentile to grow. My biggest gripe about the stroller though is that, at this price point, it should be flawless. The stroller has two major flaws, I'm shocked were not corrected with V3; the wheels and the grip on the handlebar. I need to put air in the tires nearly every day and the grip on the handle bar is soft foam I am sure will tear within one year despite how careful I am loafing and unloading the stroller in the trunk of my SUV. With that being said, I still absolutely love this stroller. I just wish I didn't have to now buy a travel air pump and find a creative way to cover the handlebar.

Having twins? Have ChiccoKeyfit? This is how you get them out of the hospital.
Twin infants, used with ChicoKeyfit adapters to dock TWO carseats into MountainBuggy simultaneously. Do not make my mistake and buy 2016+ model Indie twin stroller, thinking that it would accommodate Two ChiccoKeyfits. Despite what some websites may say, THIS IS ONLY FOR THE 2015 indie twin model with adapter, both of which have been discontinued by the manufacturer. I did not want Graco stroller with back to back for ChiccoKeyfit carseat. This stroller fits nicely through standard doorways. I have yet to travel with it. But I am sure I will do so in the near future.
