DukeTraps Rabbit Cage Trap

Light weight and easy to re-home a rabbit when you catch one.

I bought 2 to capture several pet rabbits that escaped. I put a little feed in the back and placed them near where the rabbits were traveling in our yard. First night I caught 2. Second night I caught one and a wild one. Released it since it wasn’t hunting or trapping season. Within a week I caught all our pets and a couple more wild ones. I did have to work on the triggers a little. They were too sensitive and were hard to set without setting the trap off.

Pretty good trap for small-medium animals, small rabbits for me. I had to add a small wood board to the "trip" in order to help trigger the trap, and make sure the rabbit (which is small) put enough wieght on it.

This product was not the quality I was expecting. It had no protective shield plate under the hand. There was not back door to get the critter out. The cage was made of very cheap wire. The trap didn't work sometimes. It was smaller than I was expecting.

I received trap and was surprised at the size (I thought it would be bigger). It has worked quite well. I've trapped 2 baby bunnies, 6 baby opossums, 2 adult rabbits, and 1 squirrel. I bought it trap the rabbits, didn't even know that I had opossums. I take them to a park and let them go.The only complaint that I have is that the door broke after the 3rd catch. However, I was able to wire it back on. It doesn't work as smoothly as it did at first.

had to loosen the trigger . It was a little stiff. I also had to tie my bait to the trip plate so the critter would put more weight on it to trip it. The green color helped. It was avoiding the silver colored one I had been using. Worked. I caught my pack rat.
