Airaid 200-543 PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer

After installing with freshly cleaned throttle body I can definitely tell a difference in idle & load. Nothing major (yet). Tomorrow my JET MAF will arrive and my complete upgrade will be finished. CAI has been installed now for around 6 months and while that has been a major upgrade, it has been missing some pieces. My CAI works just fine with factory MAF but factory MAF was not designed to handle the amount of air intake that CAI gives. With the CAI, JET MAF, Airaid throttle body spacer, & AFM Disabler my truck should be running at its highest potential . 😎

Easy install, hard to say if there's any gains yet. 100km w it in but seems a lil more responsive and throaty,all tho I have a airaid cold air intake feeding which is also throaty..

I installed the Arid Throttle Body spacer ...I have to say with both the K&N air intake and spacer--my truck improved so much--- smoother shifting in lower gears- so it wouldnt kick into first or second- but when you pressed the pedal and or were in higher RPM's or gears--it went fast!!!!----perfect!!!- I took the next step and installed Flowmaster Super 40--With these two mods--its much louder than expected--but a great sound--just on highway speeds- you get some Drone---course after a week- the computer adjusted and it settled down some, enough to where I can now enjoy the ride more and not annoy anyone else out there on the road or neighborhood..I got Duratrac tires and kept them on stock 20 inch rims-it's perfect truck now 100 percent - in regards to the extra torque & power I gained- which stiffened up the steering while

Shipping was fairly fast. Got here a day ahead of time. Installation is a breeze if you already have an Airaid Cold Air intake but more involved for a factory set up. Upon installing this, I did notice a gain in the low end torque, as well as a MPG gain. I put a leveling kit on my truck and i lost two mpgs. This TBS gained one back so far I have yet to fill up and really see how it does from full to a quarter of a tank. Also a plus since this fits on the back of your throttle body, you can use any CAI you want with it. As far as the "whistle" is concerned, I can't hear it over my exhaust but my exhaust is louder then most trucks. All in all, I'd recommend this for a bolt on power adder. Its not as much as a turbo but you get something out of it.
