Piece of junk
Was trying to replace the version of this that my water delivery company provides (which costs $12). That one has lasted for years but I gave it to a friend. This new one disconnects from the tube and the top shifts around and never sits in a stable position on top of the water bottle. The efficiency of the pump:water output is also really low so it takes a lot of pumps to get the water you need. I would say it makes sense given the price, but as I mentioned, the one I originally had was only a little bit more expensive and was much higher quality.

Originally I give a 1. After unscrewing the top , I found it was assembled wrong. The air bag to compress air into the bottle was upside down.Well lo and behold the pump works like it’s intended use. Sorry but not . Why can’t they educate slave labor to up and down.Anyway it works after you fix it.

AmericanMaid isn't compatible
If you have a AmericanMaid water jug (got my at walmart) this will not fit out of the box. I guess the neck on this one is too small. Doesn't look any different then any other ones but it doesn't fit. I ended up putting electrical tape around the neck and it fits snug now.. it's a outside jug for our garden so we will see how it last. But after the tape it does what it's supposed to do so for $10 I can't really complain much.

Inexpensive workmanlike alternative to a plastic stand for a 5-gallon jug
Works well, though you must fit it carefully to ensure a seal - no seal = no vacuum pressure to raise the water. Continues to work until there is only a half-inch or so on the bottom.

Easily works very well and could be used if you are a wine maker as also.
This makes a great transfer pump to move drinking water from it's large 4 gallon plastic jug into a smaller 1 gallon pitcher or jug. Might not seem like a big deal unless you ever have a weight restriction put on you. works perfectly for me.

Water bottle spout
Difficult to position on the bottle. Wobbles when used. But it works and doesn't leak!
