Q: How can I make this chime more sensitive to the wind so that it plays more easily?

I have the chimes on my lanai with the stand sitting on a table where the air vent hits them just right. I hear them playing throughout the day. I live in a warm climate so my air conditioner is on most of the time. Every time the fan goes on they make beautiful sounds. Using a fan might help also. Good luck.

Q: How loud are these chimes? i have handmade chimes that are way too loud!.....that bother the neighbors....

In my opinion, they are not too loud. I have a pretty good-sized backyard, and I have not heard any complaints from my neighbors. The thing is, too, that they only make their sounds when there is a strong wind going on. Most of the time they don't chime; I wish they chimed more, though. I love their sounds.

The Koshi chimes come in different sounds that represent the 4 elements of the earth, Earth, Air, Fire, Water. The difference in sound is the notes that are paired to each chime. They are quite beautiful.
