Noodler's Ink Refills Blue Nosed Bear Bottled Ink

I really wanted to love this ink. I love the color and it shades beautifully, but it's too wet for any of the pens and papers I own. In the pictures I added, you can see I inked a Lamy Al-Star EF and a Noodler's Konrad flex nib pen with this ink. It didn't work well. The Lamy writes more like a Medium nib, and whenever I actually flex the nib on my Konrad, it bleeds and feathers terribly no matter what paper I use. However, if I don't flex the Konrad pen, I get a very light, fine line with slight shading. That was very nice!I tried it on high-quality copy paper, my 160GSM bullet journal, and a Rhodia dotPad. I didn't like the writing experience on any of them. I still haven't tried it on Tomoe River Paper, but that one's even thinner than all the papers I've tried this ink on. I can't imagine it'll be any better.I could probably use this ink in my artwork, whenever I want to add ink splatters, but not for writing.

This ink is my favourite everyday use ink. I've had water spill on my notes and the ink holds up! I use a Noodles Ahab pen and itit's never clogged on me.

Everybody hates this ink but me, so I should stock up before it gets discontinued. Especially with the way my Lamy eats up ink. I love the dull blue hue. It's muted and very soft. I even love the ever so slight feathering. It adds to the humble grace of this ink. Some of this inks worst qualities just shine to me!

I wasn't sure if this combination would work with my finicky Mont Blanc Starwalker. I'm thrilled.

This ink has a very strong shading effect. It’s pretty cheap as well.

Disappointed with ink not the color I was expecting. I was expecting a lighter color this is more a dark blue green color maybe.The ink is fine in my pen, but I need to find another blue ink.
