Nylon Crossbody Bag - Premium Lightweight Top-Zip Handbag

I have purchased this bag twice over, and I am buying it again for two gifts. The first time I bought this bag was for a trip to Europe. I wanted something that was practical AND chic. The front pockets are perfect for keys, lip gloss, etc. I store my wallet, etc. in the main compartment, and my cell phone is easily accessible in the bag's back zipper pocket (perfect for passport and printed tickets when those were a thing). The contrast of the red lining and the black nylon looks sharp. After years of use, the hardware may lose its golden sheen and look more silver in its tint yet hardly proved an issue for me. This is my go to bag for all seasons.

I loved this bag. It’s the second one I purchased. The first one I order was on may 10, 2017. The bag was amazing in terms of structure and durability. I raved about it so much that my sister wanted one, so I gifted my old one to her and ordered a new one this year on September 19th of this year. You can not imagine my DISAPPOINTMENT AND DISMAY. Where as the first one is still going strong, the second one is a different story. It is less than a month since I purchased it, and the interior lining ALREADY FELL APART!!! I’m so upset. Should have kept the first one. I have NEVER seen a lining fray so quickly. I’m a cobbler and often service linings. I would give no stars if I could because either this a fluke in manufacturing or else the company is not producing the quality they did a couple years ago. Took it to a cobbler to see if it could be repaired and now it’s going to cost me an extra hundred dollars because the only way to salvage this is to replace the entire lining because it’s attached to a bound, wrapped seam in the bottom, and the piece that is fraying was secured under the leather trim. It can’t reattached from there because it’s frayed too much for the material to go back underneath the trim. I’m so upset and wish I could be an Indian giver and get my old bag back. All of this is less than a month with the same amount of weight and wear the first bag had that is still going strong.

This is my second bag. After 1and 1/2 years the hardware which attached the strap broke. This second one does not feel that it is same quality. The zippers are stiff and it is not as well made as first one.

I have been admiring the designer bag. I searched for it on Amazon and this Korvara came up. The reviews were excellent so I took the plunge and ordered it. I LOVE this bag and I paid less than 1/3 of the designer’s price! The pickets and zippers are roomy and work well. The crossbody strap has a lot of leeway to wear it very long or short. The fabric inside and out feels and looks exactly the same as the designer bag. The only difference between the two that I could identify were the attachment of the straps on either side are sewn and permanent, and the zipper pulls are larger and have the designer logo on them.

I really wanted to like this bag. I loved the lightweight aspect as well as the layout. As a plus-sized person, I felt the crossbody strap was a nice length as well. Now, granted I DID buy this from Amazon Watehouse at a reduced price, the fabric seemed very sensitive. I am uncertain if it was already flawed, but when I saw it in sunlight (in my car), I noticed flaws in the black nylon in several different areas in the bag. They seemed glaring to me. Again, not certain if they were already there, as a Warehouse Deal, and I just didn’t notice. The zippers worked fine...nice width and very smooth. There were some “unfinished” threads on the front of the bag and the red accents in the straps, zipper pulls, etc seemed messy. This feature didn’t bother me but I thought that I’d mention anyway. The light/white marks on the black nylon bothered me...seemed very sensitive. I do have a MZW Small Nikki in Cloud (light blue) that seems sturdier and not as sensitive to marks. All that being said, I realize this IS a knock-off but looking at the quality, I still didn’t see this as a $37 handbag. That being said, I also consider my Nikki overpriced as well. ;) LOVED the layout, though. I just wish it was a lower cost.

I bought bag in February of 2019 and it quickly became my favorite and I used it daily. The strap clip broke a few days ago and immediately ordered a replacement bag. Unfortunately, today I returned the new bag because the trim on the new bag is very sticky feeling — almost “gummy” feeling. I love the bag so much that I’m now searching for a replacement strap. I hope my bag is just a fluke and all the newer bags are not the same. Hope manufacturers return to using the materials used in the previous bags.
