I bought these “sliders” to enable me to move two heavy sofas and a swivel chair. I was having the inside of my conservatory roof cleaned and couldn’t move such large items to another room. The workmen said they would move the furniture from one end to the opposite end of the room as they worked.Knowing the weight of the furniture I wanted to save their (and my!) backs.I have just popped the sliders under each furniture leg and the difference!! I can move the sofas with the gentlest of pushes and the chair could almost be done with one finger!The sliders have a very thick padding on the top so will fit any reasonably sized furniture leg. The padding holds the leg securely in place.The base is a very smooth and shiny plastic and is strong enough to take the weight. When the furniture is gently pushed, it glides across the floor.The chair is a swivel chair with a circular base. I placed one slider at each compass point and it worked like a dream.The floor I have is porcelain tiling and the sliders have done no damage whatsoever to them.I will store the sliders after the work is done but plan to use them for moving beds and other pieces of furniture in the future.My back is very grateful I found them! I was sceptical but struggling to move furniture to dust underneath or behind. Used to move a dehumidifier daily and move a heavy wooden double bed for first time. Could do with longer/slimmer ones for bookcases, chest of drawers flush to floor though. Some furniture heavy to lift by hand to slip these underneath legs/castors but may invest in a lifter for future. When placed correctly things just glide on carpet like magic. Elderly relative loves sliding the sofa out now.

These are just brilliant.Something so simple but so effective in helping to move heavy furniture.We recently bought a heavy sofa bed which we struggled to move when putting it up. Bought these and wow, the sofa just glides around effortlessly. 8 in a pack so we used 4 under a bed which makes that easier to make up. Definitely going to get some more to make life easy.Great value.

When you boil it down it a piece of plastic that reduces friction to slide heavy items on carpet and flooring. But they work so well. Don’t usually write reviews but these have allowed me to move my partner behemoth heavy furniture into the newly carpeted room solo. took me and my dad popping hernias to get them out of the same room weeks earlier just to glide them back in this evening without breaking a sweat. Just buy them they are worth it.

So so soooo useful when moving furniture around.

Although these are a decent price and size they didn’t work particularly well. I wanted them to move my living room furniture but they only worked on lightweight items, small coffee tables etc. I have a very deep carpet and think that may be the reason I had trouble. That’s why a 3 star rating. I feel they would work on wooden floors etc

I have to be honest. I thought that these would be absolutely useless but I was desperate for a solution and thought to myself, I'll try them and then probably send them back.Being older, there is no way that I can help my son to move his really heavy bedroom furniture, so I took a chance and to say that I was shocked was an understatement. I'm probably rambling on here but honestly these are brilliant. My son placed them under each corner of his unit and then left the room for something, I gave the unit a slight push and it moved across the floor 😯 I moved it myself! I couldn't believe it!Fantastic idea and definitely worth every penny
