Effective TPM
Works perfectly as a TPM module for upgrading to windows 11. Make sure you need one on your motherboard before buying. Installation was quite easy.

Worked as needed
Worked for me.

Works for the correct board.
Works great with my MSI B460m pro motherboard. Updated the BIOS from the MSI website and rebooted the computer and it was there in my BIOS. Now I don't have to buy a new computer once Windows 10 goes obsolete.

Windows 11 is largely installed and appears to be working
Even after I installed this TPM Windows 11 installer said the board is not compliant but that was because it only had the original BIOS. Two updates later, all is well, so far.

Just works
TPM Chip works exactly like it’s supposed to on my MSI motherboard. Not much else to say since it does what it’s supposed to do and just works. It’s within the reasonable price range of other comparable TPM chips. So I would easily recommend this one for use.

Does not work!! System does not boot with chip installed.
System MSI x99A Gaming Pro does not boot with this chip installed.MSI X99 chipset only supports TPM 1.2 and uses a 14 pin TPM chip.X99 cannot run TPM 2.0 and therefore cannot run Win11.

It's a tpm...for encryption... Whoever actually uses it
Does what it's supposed to. Because Windows 11 is dumb and won't run without one. Fit my MSI board. Just plug it in to your tpm header. Had to fool around in BIOS to switch to discrete tpm though as I later discovered my main board has tpm built in
