Q: It says an AMD cpu is required, but whats the actual processor requirements to run this?

It does not necessarily require an AMD CPU, but certain proprietary performance features only work when paired with a Ryzen CPU (some also only work with a zen3 Ryzen). There are other important factors to consider when upgrading your GPU, such as your PSU's max power rating and whether or not your current CPU will be a bottleneck. I'm using a Ryzen 7 3800X (zen2) with this GPU and I'm more than happy with the overall performance. If you're planning to upgrade your CPU alongside this, you will need to make sure that your motherboard supports whatever you're getting. I recommend using PC Part Picker and entering your primary system components to ensure full compatibility.

Q: Would this fit into a small form factor pc, specifically a dell optiplex 7040 sff?

Yes! I bought it for one of those specifically. It fits fine as long as you have the one slot for the full pcie available. Just swap the bracket. Insert and enjoy! No extra power needed.

Absolutely, nearly 50% better on every aspect.

Q: Does this come with a bracket swap for small form factor pcs?
