And it works perfectly so far - not much else you can ask for. I’m very happy to finally be able to use my voice to control the outlet instead of my old clunk one.

I find these to be a little bulky. If you are placing them behind furniture or something, and the plug still has to go into them, you may find it a tight squeeze as I did. I’ve seen similar products from other manufacturers, that also take up only one outlet, but that are more compact.I don’t bother with their app—I try to do everything in Apple HomeKit, which I will be able to do until they start requiring a hub sometime next year, at which point I will possibly reconsider.They work well, are easy to pair and connect to a Netwerk, and I appreciate the single outlet space design.I haven’t had any issues with them losing touch with my network, but I haven’t been using them very long. On the other hand I bought some for friends of mine last year, and the year before, and I’ve never had any complaints when I asked how they were working out.

I was looking for something HomeKit compatible, and that wouldn't break the bank. These plug ins did the trick, great for controlling my Christmas lights around the house - and because they didn't break the bank I don't feel bad automating every single room.

It feels like a nice solid device. Works with Siri

Okay so I had a little issue getting it to connect to Apple HomeKit at first but finally figured out a trick (unless I’m doing it way wrong). I found I first had to download the Meross app PRIOR to adding it to Apple HomeKit. Once you have the app, hit the “+” in the top right and select your product (I have three outlets and a smart outdoor outlet). Then follow the prompts for that specific product (you can only add one at a time so don’t even plug the other ones in yet if you have multiples). The prompts will take you to wifi settings where you’ll see a new wifi signal pop up (starts with an M followed by other numbers and letters at the very bottom). You’ll select that and it’ll say “add to wifi and home” which is what you want to happen. You’ll then be directed to the HomeKit App and you’ll be prompted to scan the code on the side of the PRODUCT ITSELF NOT THE ONE ONE BOX. It’ll take a few seconds (be patient) and then you’ll be prompted to select what room the product is located in. After thats added, go back to and close the Meross app completely (you won’t be prompted you’ll have to go their manually) and then reopen the app. Click the “+” one more time and you should see the product you just installed in HomeKit pop up in BLUE at the top. Select that and that will officially add it to the Meross app. Close the app completely one more time and then reopen the app and your product should be listed.I know that was long winded but HomeKit is finicky so I figured I’d give some of my new found wisdom to the rest of you. This is an amazing product and one of the only smart outlets that works with HomeKit so be patient and let the apps do their thing. I promise you it’s worth it.

I regularly cursed this product when using with only my iPhone + router. 50% of the time I'd get an error message saying the device was not responding. Now that I've added a full-time internet to my system plus an Apple HomePod Mini speaker as a base, I get great performance. I blame the Apple system as the problem more than this device. Just be warned, if you do not have full-time internet feeding your router, you'll likely be disappointed in this device.

I love this product. Our family is planning an extended vacation. These remotely operated plug/switches are easy to install and link to your phone for remote control of any connected appliance.I strongly recommend these simple devices.
