The media could not be loaded. Every year I make my kids a mini cake for their birthday and these unicorn rainbow sprinkles are my favorite ones to use. They taste good, their freshness lasts, and the colors are so fun and vibrant. This year my son asked for confetti cake so I put 1/2 cup of these jimmies sprinkles in the batter and the cake came out so cute! Much better than the funfetti one where the colors aren't as bright. Anyway, after 3 years of multiple cakes and desserts my bag ran out so I bought another one and will probably only ever buy this one.

The Purple Sprinkles by Unpretentious Baker are extremely Bitter. I'm sort of new to using sprinkles, but the last ones I got (from another company) were vibrant blue and tasted similar to frosting: delicious. It turns out not all sprinkles are created equally. Despite the description, there's no way you'd want to put these sprinkles on your ice cream. It's bitter in a way that things are bitter when they are not for human consumption. It tastes so bad!Under the return policy, in blue writing, it says "eligible for refund or replacement." Well, not so fast, hover over those words and it's a different picture altogether. A pop up will come up that reads "This item is non-returnable, but if the item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement"I consider "candy" that tastes like an inedible bitter mystery substance to be "defective." If you want to return the item, you're supposed to contact the seller. However, the seller, Unpretentious Baker, will ignore you.Save yourself the time and stress: get sprinkles somewhere else.

A couple important things about these sprinkles:- made in the USA! I have never been able to find sprinkles made in the USA at our local grocery stores-they are soft! not hard and not going to hurt your teethI enjoy adding these to some vanilla ice cream and I think they are delicious - I think there's something nostalgic about the flavor for me. Tastes exactly how a sprinkle should taste. The sprinkles I received look exactly how the listing photos look - quite vibrant. I ordered these in the middle of our incredibly hot summer and they did not arrived melted or deformed at all. Perfect condition. I am pleased with these and would recommend them!
