I’m no musician but this has everything to help me learn the ukulele
I’ve never been good with musical instruments (even though I could play the titanic theme on a piano when I was at school…)My oldest daughter took ukulele lessons when she was in primary school so she’s been attempting to show me how to use one, tune one and even how to correctly hold one(yeah I’m that bad!)Anyway, the kit comes with everything you need to get started playing the instrument. In order of importance, these are the contents:Ukulele - Well made and feels durable and sturdy. No rattling or wobbling when shaken and I wouldn’t say it’s a child’s instrument. This is labelled as kids but seems purely focused on someone with an interest in learning to play a ukulele regardless of age. This ukulele has rounded edges and decently geared tensioners you help you with tuning.Guitar picks - while you can play a ukulele with or without picks, in the long term, it’s much easier and potentially less painful to use them. I remember being told this at school at one point but it may have just been a way for the music teacher to stop me being annoying… some teachers are sneaky like that.Strap - this is pretty self explanatory, golds the guitar in a nice position for playing and moving around without having to physically hold it when you’re not playing.Tuning device - this clips onto the end of the ukulele and tells you the note you’re currently playing so you can tune it to perfection. It also has a battery with it and in this case, the battery was held in the clamp that holds it onto the instrument.A capo - gives a higher pitch when clamped down.Lesson book - this is suitable for both adults and children and tells you the basics of a ukulele.Case - Allows safe storage of the ukulele for travelling without worrying about scratching or breaking it.Extra strings - One major thing I remember from when my daughter was taking lessons is the sheer amount of times I had to run to the music store to pick up strings before she had to return her borrowed one to school on a Monday morning. Thankfully this set does have spare strings so even if one does break due to me being heavy handed, I will be able to simply replace it and carry on.For the first time in years I’m actually enjoying trying to learn something new. The last time I decided to invest time into learning a hobby was in the early 00’s when I started in depth learning of how to build computers.I highly recommend this whether it’s for an adult or a child, it’s a great all you need ukulele starter kit.

Great quality
The media could not be loaded. This is a great starter set for anyone who wants to get into playing solid and we'll made carry case also comes with beginners guide book neck strap extra nylon strings cleaning cloth a capo two picks and even an auto tuner the guide shows you how to tune the ukulele. does say keep out of sunlight for extended periods obviously due to bleaching. There's nothing more you could need to get started which is why I like this. This is the soprano version which measures 21 inches long and 7 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep and the carry case is around similar size and has a nice front pocket.

Great for beginners.
I wanted a musical instrument that is portable and convenient and this ukulele has fit the bill, it is wonderfully crafted and beautifully lacquered. From an amateur enthusiast, the sound resonates wonderfully. Also, you get top-notch accessories, such as the case; the case is padded and made of quality material with an outside pocket to store the picks, extra strings, campo clamp, microfibre cloth and the digital clip-on tuner. If like me you are just starting out on the ukulele journey then this kit will cover all bases with aplomb and more. Good price, good kit.

Absolutely Superb.
First off, don’t be misled by the fact that this is described as being a beginner’s ukulele, which of course realistically it is, but this is of a quality and standard that an experienced musician could quite easily pick up and use, it is that good, wholly belying the low price.I’m surprised at just how good this is. The finish is good, nice and glossy with distinct woodgrain, and detailed inlay. It’s mahogany. All parts of the uke (headstock, tuner, bridge, neck, as well as frets, strings etc) are good quality, with nothing to criticise, and the sound is crisp and deep, really good. For a beginner (my Grandson, who wants to learn – after being shown at school!), this is superb. It won’t break the bank, and comes complete with a beginner’s book that has been thoughtfully put together, it really is first class, along with picks, spare strings, a superb little tuner aid, strap, cleaning cloth, and Capo (device used on the neck of the uke to transpose and shorten the playable length of the strings, raising the pitch). The uke comes with a really lovely soft, fully padded case with handle and shoulder strap, an all-round fantastic ukulele with all the accessories needed to get you started, and certainly good enough to continue using as you become more proficient, in my opinion. All in all, an absolutely beautiful, very good quality Ukelele, perfect for beginners with all the additional accessories you’ll need. Absolutely highest recommendation I can make, it’s that good. Fantastic value too.I hope this has been helpful.

Not great really
Generally well made ukulele with the usual goodies thrown in.. but.Finish is weird - feels like boat varnishNeck width is simply too narrow at 34mm on a tenor - i've seen sopranos with more comfortable necks.Tuners are cheap and all different tensionsStrings are not the right gauge for the uke - very thin, floppy and easy to bendSetup on the one I received was appalling - approaching 4mm a the 12th fretSound is thin and reedy and volume lowIt may look cheap, but there are better options at this price point.
