MILWAUKEE DONT DO THAT
This thing is amazing, uses m18 batteries. Heats up fast, and lets you slap things together in a pinch. Great for sticking felt gasket back on, or doing spot repairs. Pair it with silicone sticks & you can do some great waterproofing.

Solid performance, heats quickly.
I bought this hot glue gun to replace an older Ryobi 20v hot glue gun I lost in a house fire. It heated up much faster than the Ryobi. I kept it powered for about 20 minutes and I still had 4 bars left on my 12ah Forge (overkill, I know). It dispenses well and didn't drip. This is a good option if you're married to the M18 platform like I am.

Works well and heats up fast.
It’s compatible with Milwaukee batteries, heats up fast about 60 sec. You’ll know it’s ready when the light turns green. Just remember to turn the switch off when it’s not being used, other wise the battery gets drained. Works great, so far used it to make a hollow night sword for Halloween. Recommended.

Works great.
Works great. It seems a little cheap feeling compared to Milwaukee tools, but for the price, it is what I expect. I am guessing it is 3d printed or something similar. I have used it several times and never had a problem.

Worth the money
At first I was sceptical about how well it would work given the price and being an unknown brand to me, but I was pleasantly surprised. It gets hot faster than my plug in hot glue gun, and gets hotter than my plug in glue gun. It's got a switch on the side so you can turn it on and off as needed and has an led indicator light that's red when heating up and turns green when it's hot. The battery acts as a nice stand for it so you can just set it down on any flat surface without having to pull down a lever/arm to set it on a table without the tip touching. I can't speak for the quality of the glue sticks that come with it as I opted to use the ones I already had, which are high temp glue sticks. This glue gun makes quick work of them. The only thing I noticed that it's lacking Compared to my plug in glue gun is how much/how fast it can dispense hot glue. It's not as fast, but that's honestly a good thing for what I use it for, but can be an issue if you need lots of hot glue in a short time. It's very close though so most people won't even notice the difference. It seems to be good in terms of battery usage, as I've yet to drain my battery. The portability of it makes it a game changer. No outlets or docking stations needed. Just turn it on, wait for the green light which takes about 60 seconds and you are ready to get gluing. Overall, I recommend this hot glue gun to anyone who has battery power tools that it's compatible with, which is Dewalt, milwaukee and makita 18/20v lithium batteries. Even if you don't use a hot glue gun often, it's worth having around just because it's useful when needed. Review update: tried the glue sticks that come with it and they are no good for This glue gun. I think they are low temp glue sticks because they have caused clogs in both of my glue guns. When they dry, the adhesive isn't very strong compared to what I normally use. It feels like rubber. For craft applications they are not bad, but for heavier work they would not be ideal. I personally recommend using AdTech crystal clear glue sticks which aren't expensive and work much better. After using this glue gun for several weeks now, I'm still thoroughly impressed with it. I still cannot get an accurate assessment of battery life because I often share batteries between tools.

FREEDOM!!
Last summer I designed the sets for our VBS program and only had corded glue guns to work with. I do not like being on a leash! Having to drag an extension cord all of the the place to be able to glue the heck out of the waterfall I was building out of Amazon boxes and paper was so irritating! Since I was under time restraints I just had to suck it up and deal with it but as soon as I was done I was online looking for a cordless glue gun. I have Makita drills so I already have batteries, which is why I chose this one. My battery slipped right into place with no issues and the gun heats up fast! With that big battery on it it does make for a much heavier gun than your typical corded glue gun but the trade off is the freedom to move around with it. It's fairly balanced but you might experience some fatigue if your battery is heavy. Just be aware of that. It does heat up fast and even so gluing with it is as you'd expect. With the battery attached I just stand it up on that, no need for a stand. It does dribble a little once it's heated so I stand it on a silicone mat to catch the dribbles. I will say, for most of my smaller crafting I do opt for the corded glue guns just because they are smaller, have a more detailed tip and are easier to maneuver in the little areas I'm using them for but for larger jobs this glue gun is fantastic. It's a matter of using the right tool for the right job and this glue gun is for bigger jobs where you need the freedom to move around. Can you use it for little spaces and detailed gluing? Yes, but it's easier to finesse the little guns than this bad boy so I opt to have more than one glue gun. This also doesn't have hi/low options so if that's something you need you won't find it here. I'm gearing up to do VBS again and I'm looking forward to being off leash! I 100% would buy this again.

Great
works perfectly! Love not having a cord. Once fully hot it keeps up no problem. Can be a little bit battery hungry since it has heating element. Id buy again and highly recommend
