Thundersnow Deluxe Ice Scraper with Brass Blade By ISE

This is the second time I purchased this scraper. There is no better ice scraper than a brass blade. My car is parked outside and I live in a valley that has more frost and ice than any of the surrounding area. I like the slightly longer handle and soft grip. Keeps it from feeling as cold and provides a secure grip. I am short so the added few inches makes reaching the middle easier. The metal shank makes for a rigid handle and seems sturdy.

A very good scraper, and it doesn't scratch the glass. This is the third copy of this scraper that I have bought. I like the design, but in each of the first two cases the plastic between the handle and the blade broke when I had to clear heavy ice from my windshield. If the manufacturer could strengthen that part of the scraper it would be almost a perfect tool.

I've had this scraper for a number of years, but I broke it by using it in a manor it ment for, (I have learned to cary a shovel in the snow). The brass blade does not chip or breakdown like plastic does. It also doesn't damage the molding around the window.My problem was that I broke my original scraper toward the end of winter. By the time I got my replacement, the snow/ice season was over. Very Slow Shipping.

Broke two of these in a single Minnesota winter. The blade scrapes very well, but the plastic that holds the blade in place is incredibly weak and snaps easily. Maybe OK for places with light winters...but in that case paying $10 for an ice scraper in the first place seems excessive.

I wish the handle was a little longer. But I really like this blade, instead of the plastic ones.

The best scraper for that thin ice. Metal blade just gets it off. The way the blade is positioned with the squeegee on the other side makes it do the ice doesn’t get all over hand. Wish it was a tad sturdier and longer handle. But just love it, tried those cone things, they were a joke.

During the second use of the scraper, I had to address some rather stubborn accumulation. While scraping the windshield, the brass blade broke free from the frame. I was fortunate to have a friend close by to help clear my windshield.I will not buy from this company again.

This Ice Scraper is super, However, I did not like the fact that there was no tracking number. I would have liked to be able to upgrade the shipping to a faster method, and would have been happy to pay for a shipping upgrade. No tracking number was a problem as the little rat bastards in my neighborhood stole the package out of my mailbox and then threw the item in my neighbor's yard when they saw that it was not a valuable. I was lucky that I got the item from my neighbor but this could have ended very badly for me and ISE products.
