not cheap but great socks
My feet are always comfy in these. good socks are probably the most overlooked but super important piece of clothing the moment you step outside for anything from shopping to climbing. we'll see how long they last. I also like the real wool woven into the material blend.

Perfect Boot Socks
Ordered these and a pair from Nike that did not fit and wouldn't have fit even in another size because they (despite being long) had no room for an actual leg with actual muscle. These ones from Underarmour do.

Best boot socks ever (for me)
I came across the UA Hitch Heavy socks by accident on a clearance rack and previously only had 1 pair. On a whim I decided to see if UA still made them and was happy to find them on amazon. For my money, they are the best boot socks I've ever had. Great cushioning, pretty warm (for not being a specific winter sock), great elastic, and they hold up really well. I can't figure a downside to these socks and would stuff my sock drawer with them if I didn't occasionally have need of other types of socks (dress, running, etc.)

Good cold socks.
These socks are great for being outdoors or if you're a person that needs good socks for work boots or law enforcement boots. They keep my feet warm as long as the boots are dry. The only complaint I have is once you pull them all the way up, they are tight on your calf, but not enough to annoy you. Mine stretched out after 2 wears and they feel great. And I wouldn't wear them if the temperature is lower than 20°F, get real wool socks for that.

Great socks, worth trying if you have trouble with blisters
Used in combination with: Salomon X-Alp Mtn Gtx Forces boots, properly sized.Use parameters: Carry weight ~60lbs for 13km over varying ground, minor elevation changes.Have not had or come near to developing a single blister since changing over to these socks in combination with the above mentioned boot. With my previous socks in the same boots I developed hot spots under identical conditions, which likely given a bit more distance, would have become blisters. With previous socks and previous boots I was guaranteed to have blisters by 10-11km.In general they keep me feeling warm and dry and are very comfortable. I only wished there were a few more size increments, as currently the large leaves me feeling like the socks are noticeably too large despite my feet falling right in the middle of the size range. Once properly set and compressed inside the boots this is not a problem, it just makes putting on the boots a bit more inconvenient as the sock slides around a bit and bunches up.Be mindful that no miracle sock will save you from bad boots and no boot can save you from bad socks. I think these are great socks and will at least remove one factor. I highly recommend trying these if you're looking for good boot socks.

How good can a sock be? Try these.
This is the most money I have ever spent on a pair of socks and with that, what I received is the best pair of socks I’ve ever put on. I really didn’t know that a sock could be this well made and be this comfortable. They are tall, above the calf, and very firm. Feels like someone made these exactly for me.

Great socks. Pricey but worth it.
Incredibly comfortable, don’t fall down, warm but wick perspiration well.
