I have not used it as of yet. Seen similar but bigger used to clean woks in Chinese take out. I think it will also do well in cleaning my cast iron pans. If it works as well as it looks, I will be VERY happy.

I purchased this with a cast iron Dutch oven. I already had older cast iron skillets and it worked well on them. I don't recommend using on new cast iron.
