Iwachu 410-681 9-1/2" Cast Iron Frying Pan, Medium, Black

The post here is for the 9.5 inch pan. I received (like other reviews have stated) the 21cm pan. 21cm is 8.25 inches rounded down. The pan itself is fantasic. Just smaller than was advertised.

Iwachu is one of the best cast iron product...But I didn't receive the right product.. this was listed as the 9-1/2 (24cm in the description) but I received the 8-1/2 (21cm on the box)It is still an excellent pan but not the one I paid for.they slapped a 9-1/2 sticker over the 21cm one from iwachuAmazon is starting to look like a Chinese website.. the product you receive are often bogged

I ordered 9-1/2" but received 8-1/2" pan. There is at least one other review stating the same issue as mine which makes me think that this happened intentionally.

I recently started trying cast iron (None Iwachu brand) for true none sticking reason. At the beginning, it works fine, but after awhile, every time when I pure oil in it, the oil starts to build up on the edge of the pan, but leaves no oil in the center. So I decided to try this frying pan since I love my Iwachu wok so much. Of course, 100% satisfied, this pan doesn't have that problem. Oil spreads evenly flat because the pan has a little curve around the edge to keep oil flat and centered. Again, very happy with the purchase, light weight, thinner, heat up quick, and hold heat very well, so far the best quality I have seen.

I am not a cast iron expert, I have used other brands. This one heats really fast, evenly and it seems to be easier to wipe out. I cooked a steak, just wiped it and it looks new. I’m tossing my other brand. First time with this brand, going to be switching!
