so far, so good!
I am someone with sensitive gums and some receding gum line. Despite brushing gently, I could only ever use the extra soft toothbrushes because even the "soft" ones were too hard for me. I winced at the dentist when they did that ultrasonic cleaning. So for years, I thought about getting an electric toothbrush but didn't because I didn't think the bristles would be soft enough. However, I have to say that I'm really happy with this purchase. It's only been two months, but my gums don't hurt at all. There was an initial adjustment period where I had to get used to the tickling sensation of the vibrations but that only lasted a few days.I like that it lets you know every 30 seconds when it's time to move to the next quadrant. The "brushing too hard" signal is very subtle and took me awhile to understand that's what it was. Also, the charge lasts longer than 2 weeks for me with twice a day use on the lower setting.I got the dark pink color but would prefer options like blue, green or purple.

Philips Sonicare 4100 - My Teeth Feel Amazing!
I just got the Philips Sonicare 4100 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush and I'm totally impressed! The high speed really gets my teeth clean - I can feel a huge difference compared to my old manual toothbrush. My teeth actually feel like I just left the dentist after each brushing. The cleaning power is incredible but what's really nice is how fast it charges. I just plug it in and it's ready to go again quickly. The battery life is also impressive - I've been using it for over a week now and haven't needed to recharge it yet.I love the pressure sensor feature because I tend to brush too hard sometimes. The timer is super helpful too since I never used to brush for the full two minutes before. For the price point, this is seriously great value. I looked at some of the more expensive models but honestly, this one has all the features I actually need. My teeth feel cleaner than they have in years!Definitely recommend if you're looking to upgrade your brushing routine without spending a fortune.

Love, Love, Love! Will buy and recommend to family!
The Philips Sonicare 4100 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush has exceeded my expectations in every way. This sleek and powerful toothbrush delivers professional-level cleaning at home, making it a fantastic investment for oral hygiene. Here’s a detailed breakdown of my experience with this toothbrush:Design and Build: The toothbrush boasts a minimalist yet modern design with a matte black finish that looks sophisticated and is easy to grip. It’s lightweight and ergonomically designed, making it comfortable to use even during extended brushing sessions.Performance and Features:1. Pressure Sensor: One of my favorite features is the built-in pressure sensor. It alerts me with a subtle vibration when I apply too much pressure, which is crucial for protecting gums and enamel. This feature makes it an excellent choice for anyone with sensitive teeth or gums.2. Two Intensity Settings: The two intensity options provide flexibility. The lower setting is gentle yet effective for sensitive areas, while the higher setting delivers a thorough clean for regular use. Both modes feel smooth and are not overly abrasive.3. SmarTimer and QuadPacer: The 2-minute SmarTimer and 30-second QuadPacer ensure I’m brushing for the dentist-recommended time and covering all areas of my mouth evenly. This is a game-changer for maintaining consistent brushing habits.4. Battery Life: The 14-day battery life is exceptional. I only need to charge it twice a month, even with regular use. The charging indicator is clear and unobtrusive, and the compact charger is easy to pack for travel.5. Sonic Technology: With 62,000 brush movements per minute, this toothbrush provides a deep clean that leaves my teeth feeling smooth and polished. It effectively removes plaque, and I’ve noticed a visible improvement in the whiteness of my teeth after just a few weeks of use.Ease of Use: Setting up and using the toothbrush is straightforward. Switching between intensity settings is intuitive, and the single power button design keeps the interface uncluttered. The brush head clicks on and off easily, and replacement heads are readily available.Maintenance: The brush is easy to clean, and the durable materials ensure it stays looking new with regular care. The removable head makes it convenient to rinse thoroughly after use.Value for Money: At its price point, the Philips Sonicare 4100 offers incredible value. It combines premium features like a pressure sensor and QuadPacer, which are typically found in higher-end models, with an affordable and accessible design.Pros•Sleek, ergonomic design•Effective pressure sensor•Two versatile intensity settings•Long battery life (14 days)•Excellent cleaning performance with sonic technology• Smart Timer and QuadPacer for optimal brushingCons•No travel case included (but the compact size makes it easy to carry).•The brush head replacements can be slightly expensive, but their durability offsets this.Final Thoughts: The Philips Sonicare 4100 is an outstanding electric toothbrush that strikes the perfect balance between performance, features, and affordability. It’s ideal for anyone looking to elevate their oral care routine without overcomplicating it. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my oral health since I started using it, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a dependable, high-quality toothbrush.Rating: 4.8/5

Works as expected.
I've used sonicare E series for many years (10 maybe 15), essentially it seemed indestuctable. The reason I'm replacing it is, first of all, I was concered about it just failing at the wrong time and since I needed new heads I figured it was time. That brings about the second reason, the cost and availability of replacement heads. Yes I found aftermarket substitutes from different sellers, and they were much more affordable, but the ether didn't fit at all (would not fuction) or they ratttled and buzzed because of loose fit. The latter issue could be remedied by running the 2 connection points under warm water causing the plastic to expand and rendring a tighter fit. While that was a usable fix it could be annoying. After using my new 4100 I am very happy with it. The only reason I rated it at 4 (1/2) stars was I find the 2 intensities, and the 30 second QuadPacer somewhat useless. RFID chip may also be overkill. When it comes time to replace heads I will try different models as the C2 head supplied with the 4100 seems a little small.
