The ends of these tweezers angle inward to allow you to really hold on to the hair. I’ve been looking for these for a long time and excited to find them on Amazon. They are simply the best.

Not thin enough
This brand produces a pair a long time ago that was thinner at the top making it great for getting splinters but this one doesn't compare, it's too think and not great at getting those pesky splinters.

junk. not sharp. Packaging I received does not match the package in the images
Packaging I received does not match the package in the images. I've purchased these tweezer many times over the years and loved them so much I usually seek out this model and package.The model number matches the old ones, but they are totally different. They are shorter which means harder to use and the egde is dull and useless. I tried one and retured the rest.
