Delicious Popcorn!
Great every time - bright white kernels, smells delicious when popping. Great plain, with a bit of hot sauce or your favorite topping!

It is smaller, but it is Good and very few hulls...when it is popped right....
I bought the Nordic Ware microwave popper (also on Amazon) and the 6 pack of fireworks white birch popcorn based in the reviews I read on amazon. It took until the third bottle to figure out how to pop it. I tried the old fashioned stove top way with oil...not so good. Probably the worst of the 3 ways I tried. It just didn't pop well. It took a long time and the kernels turned very dark before they popped. I then tried it with oil in the microwave popper...it popped better, but still took longer to pop most of them then it took for others to start to scorch. That meant I had to stop the microwave before the burning started and that left me with quite a few old maids. I did not think I would get a better result WITHOUT the oil...but I DID! Skip the oil. It is better for you and the corn pops better without it. Go for extra butter at the end. Without the oil they pop quickly, and they come out fluffy and white. Now for the size... no these do no pop as big as pop-secret jumbo pop. But they do make a nice sized kernal with LITTLE OR NO HULLS... which is more than a great trade of for the smaller size. My husband hates popcorn hulls and I doubt we will ever use regular popcorn again. I don't own an airpopper, so I can't say how this corn works with one, but it is fine with the microwave popper, no oil...then salt and butter. We enjoy every piece and do not miss all the hulls.

Good flavor and very crunchy
I tried this brand and this variety due to the reviews here on Amazon. I really like this popcorn, but honestly it's difficult for me say that this is much better than Orville Redenbacher White (a big favorite of mine) in terms of flavor. I would have to say that it has *slightly* better flavor. The kernels pop up small as others have stated and this is a bit of a turn off for me. They are just a bit too small for my liking, and this is why I rate the White Birch a 4 and not a 5. The popcorn is really crunchy which is what I was looking for with this variety, and this definitely delivers.Mostly all the kernels pop when using a Nordic Ware popper, using the popcorn setting on the microwave, without oil. If you don't use the popcorn setting on your microwave you'll have a lot of unpopped kernels.I like the fact that Fireworks is "Non GMO" but is it organic? Probably not or it would state that, right? So again, I'm not really seeing a big difference between this and OR White Popcorn. Overall though this is a good quality popcorn and I recommend it.

Great tasting popcorn
We eat a lot of popcorn. Approximately 8 pounds per month between my wife and me with a few kernels going to our dearest friends. We cook our popocorn in a Waring Pro popper using Nutiva Extra Virgin Coconut oil, which imparts a delightful flavor to the corn.. Nutiva Certified Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil -- 54 fl oz We don't put anything else on it. Both my wife and I enjoy this popcorn for it's earthy, slightly nutty flavor. This popcorn, although smaller than others, pops well with few "duds" and hulls are minimal. I give it 5 stars for flavor and popping ability but only 3 stars for price as it costs about 3 times more than what we pay for an 8 pound container of Orville Redenbacher in our warehouse store. I recommend this popcorn when you want something delicious and different, that pops well with minimal hulls, but I will probably stick with Orville Redenbacher for our everyday popcorn, as my wife prefers it to the Fireworks White Birch.

Good popcorn!
My family has used a Whirly-Pop popper for several years and was happy w/ plain "Jolly Time" popcorn from our local grocery store. Over the last 6 months or so we've had more and more of a problem with hulls and "old maids". Our view was the popcorn quality had diminished and the only other choice at the local stores is Orvil Redenbacher, so I looked at Amazon. We are very pleased with both types of Fireworks Popcorn that I ordered (White Birch and Red River). White Birch is a slight favorite in our house, but both are much better than "Jolly Time". Hardly any hulls and only a couple of unpopped kernals. We are eating popcorn about every other day now as opposed to once a week, so the minimum order isn't too large a quanity. There is a subtle difference in taste and we are looking forward to trying other varieties. I highly recommend this product and will be ordering more in the near future. I just wish the variety packs were offered with free shipping too. Oh well.

Crunchy but tender
Our daughter gave us a bottle of this popcorn for Christmas and we loved it so much we bought several more. It pops very well, kernels are crunchier than other popcorn but still tender. Great flavor. Better than Orville Redenbacher that we usually have.

So much better than 'mainstream' popcorn
This has been my favorite popcorn ever since I tried it a few months ago. Although the kernels are smaller, they are much more tender than the run of the mill popcorn you can always find in most large chain grocery stores. I do find that in my Presto Hot Air popper, there are a noticeable number of old maids (I believe is due to the smaller size of the kernel which is more likely to be blown out of the hot air popper chamber prematurely), but the taste and tenderness still make this popcorn my top choice. I have tried other Fireworks varieties, and they are also good, but in my option, this one has the best taste. (Addictive with Kernel Seasonings White Cheddar!)
