Samyang Curry Buldak Korean Spicy Hot Chicken Stir Fried Ramen Noodles 4.94oz (Pack of 5)

I really enjoy a nice bowl of ramen and I don’t mind a little bit of spice to my food so curry noodles sounded like a nice treat. To start off the packs of noodles are actually bigger than a regular top ramen pack and the noodles are thicker with a nice texture to them. You get a pack of liquid curry sauce and a pack of dehydrated veggies. The package says chicken flavor but I mostly taste the chili and curry flavors. It’s a nice taste with a good amount of spice at the end which doesn’t overwhelm the initial flavors. There’s a bit of sweetness mixed in as well but it is subtle enough to be pleasant instead of odd from a noodle dish. You should absolutely be able to handle spicy food if you’re planning on trying this. My girlfriend had a bit and it was too much for her, she would not be able to eat a full bowl of this for sure. This isn’t a soup as most of the water gets drained after the noodles are prepared but I would imagine it would be fine if you added more water to make a broth instead of a sauce like the instructions suggest. The sauce coats the noodles nicely and is fairly thick. I used teaspoons of water left over from the noodles, the instructions don’t specify if you should use tablespoons or teaspoons but it worked well for me. You should try adding the curry sauce bit by bit and taste it to see how much you can handle. I used the full pack and was able to enjoy it but I might pull back on the amount of sauce to see if I like it better. Overall a very nice product that I would probably consider buying again.

I like these noodle best as soup! Great flavor with the right amount of heat.

I originally did the spicy noodle challenge with the Samyang 2x Spicy Hot Chicken Korean Ramen. It was like eating lava but the flavor was sooo good. So I looked into the company and found out they make different flavors. I saw that they made a spicy curry flavor and I knew I had to have it. I had it on my Wishlist for a while and finally decided to treat myself. I was not disappointed. The instructions were easy to follow and it was quite delicious. I all ready recommended it to a friend. It's not as spicy as the 2x Spicy Hot Chicken Korean Ramen (thank God) but please keep in mind it is still quite spicy.

I think this is the best Buldak flavor out there. The original 2X spicy is my favorite, but this is a close 2nd.

I received the hot version, the yellow package, rather than the green package. I love them so much, even if it isn't what I ordered. Sadly, I like to share my favorite things, so I gave some packs of noodles to friends I thought would like them. These noodles are definitely spicy, but not unbearable. I had a glass of milk with each bowl and it was enough to stifle most of the burning. I definitely recommend it to everyone who can stand a decent amount of heat.

I enjoy some spicy foods. These are about the max spice I enjoy. The noodles are nice, thicker than cheap ramen. There are two packets inside, dried herbs, and the spicy curry sauce. Prepared it as described on the package. I think most ramen might be improved by ending with stir frying for a bit. The curry taste is nice, the heat about my max comfort level. Delicious if a bit too salty. Many curry pastes use salt as a major ingredient. I have high blood pressure (hypertension). One serving is about 66% of daily sodium for a healthy person. For me it’s more like 99%. I ate half and saving the rest for tomorrow. If this were less salty I’d give it 4+ stars. Even for healthy people, I don’t recommend eating it daily. But it is a tasty spicy ramen. Btw most of the salt is in the sauce packet, so it might be possible to use half of the sauce, at the expense of less flavor. I’ll try that next time I make this.

Very happy! Wish it were cheaper and came faster, but at least it’s not expired. And it’s still delicious!!

Me gusto el sabor que tiene el sobré de esos fideos. Muy rico y esta bastante picoso. Sin embargo, recomiendo solo comer este tipo de productos comestibles con moderación o de vez en cuando, por que son muy dañinos para tu cuerpo en cuanto a exceso de sodio, grasas saturadas y calorías. Aparté, su picor puede no ser el agrado de las personas mas sensibles, aúnque es menos picante que los sobres rojos, negros y morados de Buldak. Lo recomiendo, pero con moderación o menos de consumo de este producto.

Die Samyang Buldak Curry Nudeln sind genau das Richtige für alle, die scharfes Essen lieben. Die Würze ist intensiv, das Curry-Aroma gut abgestimmt und typisch koreanisch – herzhaft, leicht süßlich und mit einer richtig scharfen Note. Nichts für schwache Nerven, aber wer es gerne feurig mag, kommt voll auf seine Kosten. Die Portionen sind sättigend und lassen sich schnell zubereiten. Praktisch, dass gleich fünf Packungen enthalten sind – perfekt für scharfe Abende oder zum Teilen. Klare Empfehlung für Fans der koreanischen Küche mit Mut zur Schärfe.

Very enjoyable and easy to prepare in a pan/pot. Very tasty! Found them at my grocery store for cheaper but they rarely stay on the shelves for longer than a day because everyone knows these are great tasting noods. Hooked on this flavour now. Spicy with curry notes.

Es increíblemente bueno y picante, como a mí me gusta, además el sabor del curry es suave pero persistente, el problema es su precio exagerado...

Sabor detestable. La marca es buena, pero este sabor no lo es.
