Durable DLSR Camera Cover Bag, Water Resistant

I have the Matador version of this camera bag which is triple the price and this measures up to the more expensive product. It is slightly thinner/less stuffed than the matador but otherwise it is identical and for the money I think it is a great deal! It is easy to take on and off and the rain cover is handy as well. It provides enough padding to protect the camera when I put it in a bag or have it on my shoulder when hiking. If you want something sturdy to protect your camera from drops, that is not what this product is designed for. It has slits on each side so you can place it around the camera and have space for straps to hang out and then you roll up the top until it is sealed tight, so your camera is not exposed very much on either side of you close it properly.

OK, so I haven't put this thing to use yet, so this may eventually get edited. But here are my impressions based off of this thing costing 7.99 at the time of writing this... (Yes, it is essentially a knockoff of the Matador Camera Base)Built quality seems pretty good on this thing. I cannot find any faults in the sewing. The leather accents actually seem pretty nice for how little I paid. The padding seems sufficient off the start, but there's a chance its effectiveness may degrade over time, like most down (whether actual or synthetic) products.Unlike other reviewers of this product, I'm not going to ding this product for having the slits down the sides, as I knew what I was getting with this product. They're there to be able to be able to have a camera strap attached to the camera while having this thing on. I'm not really looking for great water resistance, just something to provide modest protection for either sticking this in a non-camera bag, and wearing it against my body (assuming it can provide a tiny amount of protection, I'm really not expecting much here).All in all, I paid 8 bucks for this, not sure about the others. Is there a decent chance the Matador is a better product seeing how it's been updated? Sure, probably. However, for what I paid, I think I am getting an approximate enough version where I won't technically need the Matador version. At least anytime soon.

I purchased this for my Olympus OM-D cameras (E-M5 & E-M5II). I needed a compact case to protect my camera in a backpack while traveling. The quality appears to be excellent and the rainfly is handy to have. My camera fits well with the 12-40mm f/2.8 lens and I assume anything smaller. The fit isn't so good if I add the battery grip. It looks like it will protect the camera from scratches, dust, and rain with the rainfly (also water bottle sweat in my backpack). It is lightweight and compact. If that is all you want, then I would probably rate this five stars. My only gripe is that it does not provide much (if any) protection from drops or being banged around, which is my primary concern. The padding is very thin. So the claim that "This bag will protect your camera gear from scratches and hard falls" falls short. Scratches, yes. Hard falls, no.

Very disappointed by this product. The photos don't show, but the sides aren't sewn together at all and the camera is completely exposed to the elements.

this cover is awesome!! simple, easy to use and functional is everything you could ask for in something light to pack around like this. the straps are easily left on the camera with this cover on and it’s super easy to take on and off between trips.

I was hoping for more padding with this bag, also I would love to see more color options on amazon, but I am still satisfied with the product and received exactly what was described just in time for a trip. Thank you! In case anyone was wondering I am using this with a sony A6000 with 55-210 lens and it fits great, I love the added benefit of a rainfly.

Simple and a practical replacement for my camera bag when I'm packing light for a hike. Not the best quality but gets the job done for a good price. Definitely recommend for adventure seeking photographers who don't want to be lugging a camera bag around.
