It marks the fabric great but it's still a little brittle to be fair (breaks very easily)

As some others have reported, these are quite thin chalks, so may not be appropriate for the more heavy handed, but I have found them to be superb. They mark with very little pressure and are exactly what I require in a taylors chalk. I would recommend, with the caveat that the more heavy handed among us should maybe avoid.

They do the job perfectly, nice bright colours to contrast your fabric, but they either break easily or I’m being a bit heavy handed.

Useful tool and case but I have found it stains some of my white fabrics....Easy to use but very very very brittle compared to some others I have used.Still useful even if broken.Storage case is very good.You probably don't need this many, I tailor for a job and don't get through these very fast.

Chalks are great for dressmaking.

Nice variety of colours for use on different backgrounds and a handy box for storage

The chalks are tiny a lot of the pieces arrived broken even though the product was very well packaged. the chalk breaks when you try to use it, because the pieces are so thin. I gave a 1 star rating because I couldn't go below that.

Good product. Amazon delivery service was as piss poor as usual. According to them this purchase was 'handed to resident' which was a LIE. It was left outside my front door until I arrived home at 10pm!!
