My birds love these pellets, small enough for my quakers and I’ve tried almost every pellet out there and this is the only one I can get them to eat

I bought this because it was labeled “great for picky eaters” the pellets are to big for conures. My conures can hold onto them but like most food a bird touches they toss them after one bite. As well, the pellets are soft which isn’t good for a normal bird diet as they need hard pellet to help keep their bills short. I think it would be great for a training treat not for regular diet

My Blue and Gold Macaw initially did not eat these. I tried mixing it in with other foods but my guess is that because of the brown color, it did not look too appealing to her. So what I did was leave only that in her bowl and she eventually had no choice but to eat it when she got hungry. Surprisingly after a few days, she started eating it on her own. And there is very little wasted at the bottom of the cage. She eats majority of it. I guess it took some getting used to.

I have to say that when I open the bag the petllets were as hard as a ROCK. The bag came completely seal, so I dont know how the food is hard when they supposed to be soft. It was not soft at all. The smell of the back was very acidic. NO fruity smell at all. The exparation date was fine, but the quality of the product was offul. I will not recommend this product, and besides it has alot of perservative ingredients which I will not give to my bird

I bought these pellets because the bag showed an African Gray (like mine), and other reviewers said their birds loved them. So I had high hopes—but my picky girl doesn't care what other reviewers had to say.She’ll nibble at a few here and there, but most of them end up out of the cage… much to the delight of the wild birds outside (when I sweep them up and replace her food tray with fresh food, the leftovers get tossed out by the bird feeders). 😅They seem like good quality pellets, and I’m sure they’re great for less opinionated parrots—but unfortunately, mine is not one of them.

I like to give my guy several different kinds of pellets. Thinking they all have different vitamins and such.Variety is the spice of life, after all.Roudy Bush has always been his favorite for the last 15 years or so. He gets that daily with a few other brands of pellets too and he eats them all.The other day I found this new kind of pellet that is soft. I decided to try it.I usually have to play “games” when adding a new pellet to his life and it could take weeks before he would even touch a new brand.However, this soft pellet was an immediate win. He ate the very first one he ever saw and now he loves them.Because they are soft, we loose a lot to crumbs but it is still something new added to his diet.It will be interesting to see how long they stay soft in the bag.But for now- he has a soft pellet that he thinks is a special treat and he really loves eating them. He even says “yummy!” WhileEating and he only does that for his very favorite foods!

Parrot loves this and I know she is getting all she needs.
