bokeh love
I'm probably not going to use this lens as much as I thought when I purchased it, but I love the color, travel friendly size and build quality. And honestly the screw cap is so nice when throwing it in a backpack because you never worry about it coming off accidentally.it delivers clinically smooth bokeh with great 3d pop. Keep it at F2 to delivery sharpness and on a camera with in body stabilization like the X-s20 and you'll be glad you took it with you on a trip. and the price, well let's just say my fujinon 56mm 1.2 cost more and the autofocus seeking isnt worth it compared to a manual with peaking turned on. The kinds of shots you want from this are the ones that take time so you have time to manually focus.

Reprised - actually pretty good
I ordered this with great hopes after reading reviews about its sharpness - given the reasonable price it was supposedly brilliant. It feels well built, is beautifully packaged and well finished, so I was rather disapointed with the first test shots. However I wondered if my expecations had been too high. I ordered a second copy and the comments refer to this.I was able to compare the TTArtisans with a Fuji 10-24 Zoom. The results are shown above, Camera settings identical on an X-T3. Sharpness at f5.6 is comparable, less flair on the TT Artisans but more chromatic aberration. So for a lens, I paid £136 on Amazon, at less than 20% of the cost of a Fuji, pretty amazing. I recently travelled with it in Morocco and it was perfect for interior shots. Shots above from left to right Fuji full image, TT Full image, Fuji 100% crop, TT 100% Crop. All at 400ASA f.5.6

Super lens for video and photos.
Love the bokeh/toneh from this lens. Superb for talking head videos - no need to worry about flaky autofocus and motor noise. Just position about 70-80cm away from your face, focus on yourself and hit record. Brilliant!Photos also look really sharp if you’re aiming for sharpness.Lens is small but made of metal so a bit heavier than it looks but very strong. I’m a big fan of this brand now. Really good value for money.

I love it!
It’s very small and perfect pair with the Fuji XT20 makes a perfect small camera package that can fit in a large pocket.Good metal build quality. No chromatic abrasion or distortion. Colour rendering is really good. And the auto focus is great. For the price and size this is really good.I have included some examples with my Fuji XT20

Don't Forget to set "Shoot Without Lens"
I needed a manual focus, medium wide-angle lens for landscape work and this TT-Artisan 17mm f1.4 fits the bill perfectly. I already have the 50mm f1.2 and the 35mm f1.4, so I had a feeling that this optic wouldn't disappoint, and it doesn't.Bright across the frame with very little vignetting, even at f1.4 and the lens is very well corrected, so no complaints. As usual, with all manual lenses for Fujifilm X-Mount, except Schneider (these usually have the electrical contacts to operate all functions except AF), don't forget to set "Shoot Without Lens" in the menu, in order for the shutter to fire. (You don't have to switch it back afterwards). Also, as is normal, because it's a manual only lens, you can use manual exposure and Aperture Priority Auto Exposure only.A very good little lens.
