These are great tools esp specially for the black Stetson felt hat that collects a bit of lint! Excellent purchase for a reasonable price.

I prefer a brush with stiffer bristles, but this works well on my wool coat and hats.

Good for the hat

Worked amazing to dust off dust and lint. The sponge did a great job moving the cat hair to one spot and then a sticky roller picked it all up! No damage or loss of felt. Love it!

Does exactly what it should

This horsehair brush is absolutely superb. Gentle, it will not damage your wool or fur hat. It does a great job on my fur Fedora. You can brush with more force if needed on stubborn marks. Not only hats it can be used on any high quality clothes, wool, silk, linen, cotton. Even luxury cotton velvet. It’s not meant to clean thick muddy clothes, just dust, lint, talc, etc. I have bought 2, one for the house and one for the car. The brush handle is well made and is nicely smooth with no rough edges.
