I use this daily on my daughter’s hair. It dries nicely, there is no gel cast and her hair stays soft, no crunchy feeling. It holds down her strays and lasts all day. She has tight ringlet curls and this gel keeps them in place and her hair is actually easier to brush at the end of the day because it didn’t have a chance to get tangled! I just opened the second one, the first lasted a while and honestly would’ve lasted longer but girly pop got ahold of it and left it open so it dried out. Very good product!

Doesn’t keep a hold on my hair type. I have very fine hair. The root looked dull and the product buildup is not good for me. Great product, just not for me.

I really like this gel it is easy to wash out yet it has a pretty strong hold for my hairbut it is only if you gonna wear your hair down and i have 4a-4b type hair, it has a really good amount, it is kinda sticky but not too sticky it is pretty thick tho, i would recommend this gell and it wasn't that expensive for how much i got

It's a great setting gel and makes my hair so soft. I've been using Shea Moisture for years and can't get over how healthy their products are.

It's been a struggle for me to find hair products that work for my hair, I was getting so frustrated and wondering if I was ever going to find a gel that works because I was reading so many mixed reviews for Shea Moisture. I decided to just go ahead and get this gel because Shea Moisture, in me and my hairs opinion, is the best and so nourishing. Turns out, yes, my hair loves Shea Moisture and this gel has been a hair saver, it works amazing, and my hair looks so beautiful, it holds great and for the whole day. The gel has the consistency of...well...gel haha! The smell is nice, it's like a tropical smell with a hint of a butter-y scent. I also love that you get a good amount of gel, basically you get a tub, and this really depends on your hair, but I just use a little bit, like probably a golf ball amount or even less, it's really nice and when I run out, I'm 100% buying this again!

Not a bad product, I just don’t like that it flakes up and leaves a residue in your hair once applied. Smells good, works well, residue is the only issue.
