This product is great. I bought it to help groom my senior cat. It went on well and helped clean her fur and dandruff. It also helped with matted fur. The smell is very pleasant and not over powering. It drys well and leaves no residue. It is made from natural ingredients.

We have a long-haired cat who is 15 and we've noticed that she's a bit stinky lately - likely due to not grooming as much because she's old (don't tell her that!). We don't want to bathe her unless we absolutely have to - she's tiny, her fur coul mat, the list goes on. I wanted to give this a try, and I'm glad I did. The ingredients sold me - simple, gentle. The bottle is bigger than I imagined, which is great.Now, did my cat love being rubbed down with a coconut foam? No. But she didn't hate it. I pumped the foam into my hands and worked it into her coat all over, brushed her, and then let her air dry. Her coat definitely felt like it had product in it when dry, but another brush through and she's clean and smells faintly of coconut.

Cats generally don’t need baths (unless they get soiled) because they groom themselves; they only need brushing. But this product is great for giving them a very mild, no-stress freshening up.I got this shampoo for my very fluffy, medium-hair cat. He is not as fastidious about grooming as most cats, and is exceptionally fluffy as well, so he really benefits from regular grooming. I’ve been using B06XPQ2WFB Pogi’s Grooming Wipes to wipe him down once a week or so. I like them, but this shampoo seems to be more cleansing and definitely does a better job of deodorizing. That makes sense, as the grooming wipes only contain water, Vitamin E, and plant extracts, whereas this product contains some kind of cleanser and odor neutralizer.The shampoo dispenses as a light foam. The scent is quite strong, but gets toned down once you apply it. It has a very thin, watery texture as you work it in, but dries very quickly after you massage it in. I brushed my cat beforehand to make sure there weren’t any tangled in the way, then worked the product in a little at a time—about six or eight pumps total. I quickly brushed him afterward to help disperse the product along his fur. Cats are wiggly about this sort of thing, but it doesn’t take more than a minute or two to spread this product more or less all over. I just did what I can, but still got a great result: his coat feels soft and fluffy, and has no smell at all. The product has taken away any odor and has not left him smelling perfumed at all. Kitties have sensitive noses, so I really like that.My only issue with this product is its lack of a specific ingredients list. Even their website doesn’t specify exactly what cleanser it uses. I assume they’re able to get away with that because it’s for pets, not humans, but it would be nice to get some transparency. I tested it on my own skin before using it on my cat, and kept an eye on him after I cleansed him in order to make sure he wasn’t in any discomfort. I strongly suggest everyone do the same.

I love the Aqua de Coco Dander Reducing For Cats. My fiancé had started becoming allergic to our cats and was miserable in the house. I tried another dander reducing waterless shampoo, and it didn’t last as long as I would like. I saw so many great reviews for this brand and decided to try it. I must say it smells amazing, although it only seems to last for a few days. But it leaves their coat sooo soft even a week later. I use a water brush first and get as much hair as I can, and then massage the foam in, and go over once more with a water brush. My cats look like poof balls afterwards but their hair is usually back to normal within a few hours. I promise you’ll love this!

My black cat is very dusty and has so much dander. This shampoo smells good and has actually helped with his dust and his dander. I recommend this product.
