Toddler actually LOVES this book!
Okay, I'm not joking that this is one of my 2 year old's favorite books. She loves the silly, yet simple images and asks me to read this to her multiple times a day. In fact, I have hidden it several times behind the couch. It also does a great job explaining complicated concepts for little minds. The counting blocks is a great way to explain a complicated proof. I have bought this for friends who are expecting as presents and they loved it too!

Good book, but very small, thin paperback.

Another Awesome Children's Book!
I bought Non-Euclidean Geometry for Babies a while back for my first child, and now I purchased this one for my second little girl. It's a fantastically written book! The best part is that, while Fred Carlson could have gotten away with just writing a book about The Pythagorean Theorem and making it baby friendly, he managed to also structure the book into a Proof! This integration of mathematical concepts is the reason why these books will always have a place on my bookshelf.

Highly recommended book for babies and kids of all ages
The famous mathematician John von Neumann said, "In mathematics you don't understand things; you just get used to them." So, the earlier you start getting used to them, the better. This is a great book to start baby getting used to the concepts of mathematics. The trick is to make it appeal to both parents and kids. And this book does just that.

Fantastic
Bought this for my friends toddler after he loved "Non-Euclidean Geometry for Babies," he loved it just as much as the other one. Very well written, teaches the shapes and their relationships laying the basics for trigonometry in a language that toddlers can understand while maintaining their interest. I am eagerly awaiting more titles in this series.

Excellent condition and brilliant. This book is great and the author has a good sense of humor too.

Great layered explanation
This is great, just like 'non Euclidean geometry' the explanation is layered. It is tough (if you don't remember much from mathematics at school) but definitely sticks in the mind better than text book teachings.

Nice, clear illustrations
Clearly illustrated and laid out. One or two Americanisms in the text but they don't obscure the educational content. Pity that it is a paperback that wouldn't survive if baby gets its hands on it and not a more robust board book but I certainly don't regret purchasing it.
