I have been using S’well for years, so as soon as I opened the box and lifted it up, I knew it was fake: 1. the weight is much lighter than the genuine one, 2. the lid does not screw tightly, 3. the logo at the base is not the official one (see attached photo). This is supposed to be a thoughtful gift for someone I care for this Xmas… very disappointing and unacceptable!

Keeps contents chilled for a good few hours even in hot conditions and in direct sunlight.

Great for keeping things hot / cold, however the finish really got scraped up and scratched pretty quickly just from carrying it around in my purse (I have 2 in this type of finish and it happened to both). While it works just great, it's not very attractive anymore as it looks like it's been through a war or something....I have the marble looking one as well and have not had that issues, seems to be just with these shiny metallic coatings.
