for this being the first luggage scale i've used i'll say it works really well for the price. it's easy to use and read. i just got back from vacation and tried it on my suitcase and duffle bag and it's pretty accurate. depending on how you hold it if it's not level you might get an ounce or two discrepancy.

Love that we can weigh our luggage before leaving home - and also take this with us to weigh in before we return. We often play the suitcase shuffle in our attempt to keep luggage under 50 lbs. Great gadget for frequent travelers!
