I purchased this expecting it to not shift any shedding coat on my friend's ponies but it did work.A tad bit slower than using our normal metal rakes but it does definitely get the dead hair out. The main idea was to get it for the small children who visit and like to help with pony grooming. I don't feel that the kids using the metal tools would be safe for both them and the ponies yet so this is a great way for them to help out with using this tool.Only downside is that it's not flexible as advertised, but I guess that's an upside for the ponies who go all droopy lips over this massage bar XD

Used it not only for the pony which is fab but for the dogs too. Great, simple and can use all over the body of the pony. Can use to lather when washing the pony too.

Quite hard rubber so difficult to hold in the hand and did not flex to fit the contours of the horse.

Love love love this. So much easier than brushing with traditional brushes my horse will stand there for ages. It’s more like a massage for him. Really gets that winter coat out of him without any fuss and it’s really therapeutic for me. Win win

Great alternative to the expensive Striphair at a fraction of the price!Sensitive Mare is quite happy for me to groom her with this, and it does a good job of pulling up loose hair and dried mud from the coat.Maybe a little awkward to hold in the hand, but I have quite small hands so that's probably the reason for that!Easy to clean, can be washed off, brushed off, tapped on a hard surface to loosen the trapped dust and dirt.

Using a plastic curry comb awas more effective and a lot cheaper.The item I received was not a bendy plastic all and very hard, utterly useless and not a patch on a shedding blade imho.
