Apart from taking time to assemble and follow poorly written instructions, this laser is brilliant.Fits a small office and works with a Mac using Lightburn. I’ve since made hundreds of projects out of 3mm plywood and black / red Perspex.

I got this to compliment a 3D printer farm - in an industry that has just been dragged kicking and screaming into a certain level of qualityThis is like a 3D printer from 2014. Makerbot made this engraver.Seriously, just shoddy craftsmanship you'd expect from a DIY kit, bent pins on the sockets, the PSU is coically up the wrong way (seriously), I've unbolted it and turned it up the right way and bent the pins back... it works, but I'll never buy this brand againEdit - stopped working after a few days and 2 (two!) cuts, returning... buy cheap buy twice

Easy to Use excellent value for money

I originally thought it was okay. I only used it about 5 times until it failed. I was using it in the house, but it set off the smoke alarms. Managed to gently etch a few pieces of plywood. As the weather was becoming warmer, the final time I used it, I had the windows open. It only worked for a short while. Initially I did a test etch, then started on proper piece. During the etching process it juddered and then stopped. I checked it out and it all looked fine. Tried to restart the process but it just made a juddering noise. I then reinstalled everything, after I had switched it off and tried again. The printer was now not even recognised by Win 11. I presumed the hardware (motherboard) had totally failed. Had initial problems contacting the supplier requesting a repair or a refund on return of the printer. After a lot of emails and videos sent to the supplier, they mailed me a new mother board.For anyone not that competent with repairs on electronic/electrical devices, they would find this process difficult. It took about 45 minutes to extract and replace the mother board. The board was not that easy to get out of the box! I took many photos of all the connections on the old board. Thankfully it is now back working.I actually think it is a nice piece of kit, but I have only given it 3 stars because of the difficulty in contacting and getting a new motherboard from the supplier. If you experience any problems you have to be persistent to get a good outcome and also pretty happy repairing the device yourself!

Absolutely love this laser, I also have a Neje laser that's the same wattage and this one well out performs that one due to the concentrated laser spot. And YES it really can etch on Stainless steel, obviously not as good as a much higher wattage one, but certainly good enough for a home hobbyist

Excelent machine but the centering could be improved.

Bought this last yeah and set it up, used for about an hour and then stored away as my laser pecker was doing more than this, got it out today and used it for about an hour and now it wont work. Starts engraving and goes for 14 seconds and stops.I would spend more and get a better machine elsewhere rather than waste money with this.

Very easy to assemble particularly if you watch utube videos on the subject. Disappointingly the power supply provided does not work with UK sockets so I have been unable to try the product. I will need to procure a suitable lead as I am not sending the item back to China and incur the inevitable wait . Since it was a Christmas present it is rather annoying as the product detail claims it has widespread compatibilty. I am unable to contact the seller direct so have reorted to using this forum to inform them of the problem.
