IQShield Screen Protector Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S8 (2-Pack)(Case Friendly)(Not Glass) Anti-Bubble Clear TPU Film

I haven't had any issues with mine but my husband only had his on for a few days and his screen shattered. He didn't drop it or anything, so we don't know how or why. Obviously the screen protector didn't CAUSE this... but it also didn't PREVENT it. We had our other ones for 5 years and never had a cracked screen. They were wearing out and yellowing, so we replaced them with these and all the sudden the screen shatters.

I have an older phone (Galaxy S8) so finding a replacement screen protector locally is not an option. My glass shield broke and so I went to Amazon. I really did not want another glass shield, so I was happy when I found film screen protectors were still an option. I chose the IQ Shield based on how it was cut at the top. I did not want to try and align a film with tiny cut-outs for the front camera, sensors, etc. The IQ Shield gently dips under them.My first attempt at installing a screen protector (different brand) years ago was not pretty. Thus, I was apprehensive doing this one myself. However, this time it turned out to be very easy with no lingering bubbles or debris under the film. The installation video was very helpful and eased much of my apprehension. I was able to use the second film on my partner's phone with the same result. Since I bought two boxes, we now have back-ups and replacement warranties for both phones. The increased touch sensitivity with the IQ Shield film is so much better than with the old glass screen protector. IQ Shield will be my go to brand from now on for all our devices!

It's a good thing this came with two screen protectors and priced affordably. After the first try applying the screen protector on my S8, I had done an almost perfect job, except with one very noticeable piece of lint was stuck underneath. Went a day with it on before I decided to try to remove the lint by lifting a small part of the film protector with scotch tape and removing said lint with another piece of tape. Wasn't able to lift the lint off because it was well attached to the underside of the screen was quite sticky, which is a good thing, but became a problem because lifting it up attracted small dust particles and made the screen unusable. Ended up removing it altogether and applying the second one and followed the same guide online and this time it was lint free and better positioned.PROS:- Easy to install. As long as you prepare the screen well and keep lint/dust off the screen, the finish product should look good.- Good fit and finish. Covers my S8's screen nicely around the relevant areas.- Comes with two screens and tools. Rubber squeegee is useful when compared to a piece of cardboard that other screen protectors pack in.- Works with a case.CONS:- Not as strong as tempered glass. It's a plastic rubbery film so it might not be the best protection against drops. Will protect against scratches, but not sure right now how it'll handle a drop on the screen, but I hope that never happens.- Edges can be finicky. Doesn't quite stick to the screen from the get go. Have to remember to palm them down.Overall this a good product and one of the best film protectors I've applied. Didn't have to fuss around with screen bubbles or having to meticulously line up the protector with the phone screen like other film protectors in the past and that's due to the wet application method which makes it virtually mistake free.

A couple of weeks ago, I caught the Samsung Galaxy S8 on sale at Best Buy for $499. I wanted the Coral Blue version and Best Buy had an exclusive on that color. Whenever I buy a phone, usually from Amazon, I buy a case, screen protector and a micro-SD card. From watching YouTube videos and reading the reviews on Amazon, I knew there were a lot of complaints about the many curved-glass screen protectors having problems of fit and screen sensitivity with the S8 and its siblings.I figured it was time to try a wet-application screen protector and the IQ Shield seemed to have about the best rating. Even before it was delivered, I watched the IQ Shield Galaxy S8 video a few times, so I would know what to expect. I cleaned my dining room table to the point where I could have performed brain surgery on it!My Amazon goodies, the case, the micro-SD card and the IQ Shield arrived in the morning and my S8 arrived in the afternoon. I carefully unboxed my new phone and went to work. I cleaned the phone as soon as the plastic wrap came off of it and followed the instructions to a "T". I let it dry overnight after making sure the screen protector's sides were carefully smoothed down and sticking. The next morning I checked it and it's absolutely perfect! I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I stuck the sim card and micro-SD card in and activated the phone.I was a bit concerned as I put the new case on. I chose this case  Spigen Tough Armor Galaxy S8 Case with Kickstand and Extreme Heavy Duty Protection and Air Cushion Technology for Samsung Galaxy S8 (2017) - Coral Blue  and it fits perfectly with the IQ Shield screen protector. I first put the soft inner-layer of the Spigen case on and then snapped the hard poly-carbonate back over it. I highly recommend this Spigen line of cases for all those Samsung phones with curved-glass. I've had it on for a week and it's hard to tell it's even there! Fingerprints wipe off easily as well! This is probably the best screen protector installation I've ever done! I'm a happy camper!

Easy to fit, bubble free. Very smooth to touch and doesn't slow screen reaction. Case friendly, others peel at the edges, these dont. Could do with a screen wet wipe, but manageable with the cloth wipe. Includes rubber smoother, wet spray and cloth.

I loved most things about this EXCEPT that isnt as case friendly as it says it is. The left side is lifted up and the protective layer is well aligned with camera at top. And I'm not mad cause that side protected by the case anyway. I have a S8 and have a Spigen phone case.

This screen protector is the best buy for a film curved screen protector. It is truly easy to apply and makes and excellent bond to curves on the edges of my Galaxy S8. Because it remains slideable when first wetted it can be positioned perfectly to fit the openings of the phone. You probably have about 5 mins before it starts bonding to the screen.I watched the instructuon video twice and then applied it with minimal problems. There is a small but unnoticeable bump on the film but the edges stuck on very well. I ran my wet hand back and forth the two sides of the curved phone to ensure that it stuck well. I left the phone off for about 10 hours and did not put the case back for 13 hours. FYI, the case is a UAG one-piece case.I have had the screen protector since May 10 and so far it has been perfect. I also find the touch sensitivity to be better than either of the two different brands of ballistic glass protectors I had on this same phone (both of which fell off).Highly recommended!

The product was supposed to be case friendly but it’s not! The bottom part of the protector peals off as it touches the case (I use speigen). Disappointed, because I researched a lot and found this MENTIONED to be the best screen protector for galaxy s8. Also the seller Exborders is least bothered to help with any info on fixing it
