Odilon Redon: His Palette

So disappointed in this. The copies are poor. Literally, you could go to the library and make more accurate reproductions of these pieces. If you are interested in the an actual pastel colors used, do NOT buy this cheap book. Buyer beware!

No, no, no! Let me save you from this! Poor quality pictures that you could print off of any office printer. Many pages have nearly half of the area blank white with small, small details of images. This book would have been a wonderful opportunity to show full page reproductions. There is virtually no text to speak of so you are left to discover Redon's palette on your own. That's fine, but what a waste of paper. Nothing worth owning!!! Really, don't. If the editor had only put one full-size image per page, it could have been useful.

Massive disappointment, turned out to be one page about Redon’s life story plus several mostly white pages with tiny copies of Redon’s art. The whole thing looks like it’s been printed off the internet.

I was so looking forward to this book, its a disgrace, one page of introduction and the rest images too small to see any detail and the quality of the print worse than poor, no commentary what so ever about the subject matter, Odilon Redon's palette.
