I bought this monopod about a year ago and use a few times a week working as professional cinematographer. The quick adjustments that you can do with just a squeeze of the hand grip and press on the pedal allow me to get set in a fraction of the time that other similar monopods take. I have also put this thing through the ringer, for the past few months using with ursa cine 12k and large telephoto lens while working of wildlife doc. It's really freeing to be able to use a monopod like this instead of heavy tripod, wildlife does not care if your in place for the shot so the faster you can move the betterThe only problem I had with the monopod was the foot pedal broke, I contacted ifootage and they had a replacement on my door in 2-3 days. I deal with tons of brands of pro cinema gear and have to deal with broken gear all the time and this was a seriously refreshing change for the apathy I've seen from other brands.I have several ifootage pieces of gear, all work great and I would gladly pay a little more for ifootage versions of any products because of the build quality, innovative design and excellent customer service

Outstanding quality, worth every penny!

IFOOTAGE might not be a household name but they're working at it. They make a wide variety of content creation accessories and equipment. I've used any number of their products and they've been uniformly excellent. They work great and they're sold at a very reasonable price point. This is a support rod for their 'spider crab' system which is basically like an erector set for photo/video work. They have a whole line of parts that all integrate together, set up quickly and allow you to basically create whatever set up you need. Like everything else from IFOOTAGE, very high quality. Highly recommended!

Love this slider support. With any slider being used on a single tripod you either have to help support the slider with your hand when moving the camera to either end or you need 2 tripods. This can be cumbersome and slow you down. With this support, you can easily use a single tripod and keep you slider moves nice and steady. Having this as part of your kit will slow things down a little bit when changing shots, but with the convenience of having to only carry a single tripod along with your slider, it makes it totally worth it. That being said, this works best with a lightweight camera package and a shorter slider (in the 36inch range). Heavy camera packages and longer sliders will still need two tripods.
