Amazing Markers
These Markers or Pens are absolutely amazing, they’re just like I imagined, I absolutely love them. They can draw on a lot of surfaces, there super fun to use, and they dry pretty quickly but leave just enough time if you wanna purposefully smudge the colors together. They are pretty durable but if you do come into an issue with the nib wearing or the paint dried, you just need to reverse the nib by taking it out and flipping. Caution, be super careful when you do this, make sure the pen is facing upwards so that the pain doesn’t drip out. I do recommend a good strong paper if that’s what you’re using them for. Preferably the less textured the better, as well as the thicker the better. How to use:Apparently there’s a whole lot of misconceptions about how to use these. I didn’t know until I read the comments before buying. They are going to come dry.1. Shake the pen while it’s closed (unless you wanna sprinkle of paint)2. Open the pen and push the pen nib up and down on the edge of paper or scrap paper until the paint reaches the end of the nib or until the pen flows well when drawing.3. Repeat if necessaryIf you do step 1, 2, 1 but with the cap open you can get nice stars on your work.DO NOT push the nib down/press to hard when drawing. If you press to hard you might wear down the tip. But my biggest concern is people saying that these pens leak, they do not leak, but they will if you draw so hard that the nib goes all the way down.Heads up:Don’t worry if the individual markers don’t come wrapped in the plastic like they used to, I’ve heard that they are no longer doing that. Also if you get markers and some are in a different language, it’s ok. I’m not sure why you would get them that way but these markers originally are from Japan. For those of you who don’t know a lot about art supplies, I guarantee that any art supplies you buy that’s actually Japanese is probably the best art supplies there is. Mine came without the plastic wrapping around the marker but did all come in English.

Great for memory / guest books
We got these along with some fold-out cards so that people could make memory books at a birthday party. The results were amazing — some people just wrote a nice note, others some amazing drawings. The colors worked well, and everyone had a great time using them. After the party, we gifted the pens to our most artistic grandson.

Keep away from children!
Should have ordered a finer tip on it tbh but still an excellent set of markers!

Shake, shake, shake, your Posca!
The media could not be loaded. I first came across these while watching a YouTube video. I was immediately intrigued and after some research decided to give them a try.I usually cartoon and had never used these before. I was pleasantly surprised. For starters, it’s important to plan out how you will do your art work as you will need to know how you will overlap your colors as the paint dries. But because the paint dries so quickly it’s literally as quick as capping your pen, putting it away, selecting your next color, and uncapping it to begin using it. If you’re concerned it hasn’t dried yet, you can always blow on your artwork gently to make sure it’s fully dried before applying the next coat of paint. But that is not really necessary.Overall, I’d highly recommend these. The colors are vibrant, and really add some pop to your artwork without all the mess associated with using traditional paints. I purchased some Canvas pads and found it worked really well with them.If you are a first time user, I would recommend doing a little research on YouTube for the proper way to prime these paint pens. It’s super easy and not difficult at all if done properly. If done wrong you will end up with blobs off wasted paint on the scratch paper you use to prime. In short you can be up and running with these within seconds if done right. I highly recommend.Important to know: if possible, store these horizontal. This allows for the paint, the mixer ball, and the thinner to spread out evenly and stay fresh for use, as opposed to when stored vertically which has been said to cause the paint and thinner to separate, resulting in the mixer ball settling down into a clump of hardening paint and making it nearly impossible to shake and remix for use later on.These are a bit pricy but if you’re looking to experience paint on canvas without all the mess…give them a try. You’ll be glad you did.

7-Year-Old Approved!
Bought this set of Posca markers for my 7-year-old, and she absolutely loved them! The colors are vibrant, go on smoothly, and work on everything from paper to fabric. The reversible tips are a fun bonus and easy to switch. Great for creative kids—and honestly, I’ve been tempted to borrow them too! Perfect gift for young artists.
