Downright Addictive!
OH MY GOD, the Taffytown Caramel Swirl is outrageously good. Their caramel cheesecake used to be my favorite; however, since they stopped making it, this one has taken its place. The texture is perfect, with just the right amount of chewiness. I have tried many different brands of taffy and Taffytown is hands down the best in my opinion. Their products have always been consistently the same and I have been able to rely on the flavor not varying from batch to batch..

Taste is good, mess in the bag.
Several were stuck together in the bag as several of the taffy pieces had escaped from their wrapping. Made it a bit messy in the bag.

Nice mix of flavors, pretty good price, and good quality unlike the Supermarket varieties.

Sooooo Good.
Six or so years ago, my wonderful spouse dumped a handful of these in my Christmas stocking. And ever since then I have been hooked. These things are so good. My biggest struggle has been finding "Sassy Taffy" regularly, in a cost effective package. I have absolutely no problem buying this whopping 5 pound bag, because not only is it cost-effective... if you store them in a sealed container they stay fresh for months (assuming they last that long... which they won't 'cause they are soooo good!)Honestly, I'm not big into taffy but I make a HUGE exception here. THESE things are mouth-wateringly tasty to the point of being slightly addictive (evidenced by the fact I am buying yet another 5lb bag.) All the varieties within ARE mildly sour, but not overly so. Sassy Taffy is one of the few candies out there which are marketed as 'sour' but not as some gimick aimed at making tears stream down your cheeks. Instead, Taffy Town leverages sourness to produce an incredibly bright flavor experience for each of the varieties found in the bag. If you are old enough to remember Gator Gum (when it first hit the market), Sassy taffy is similar in the mouth-watering brightness; but here you have six different flavors and the experience holds as it slowly dissolves during a satisfying chew. Sooooo Good! And folks... Its MADE in the USA, and not in some unregulated god-knows-where factory by slave labor. That a big plus in my book, but even if it doesn't weigh into your decision making process all I can say is, I've never met a person I didn't share these that didn't like them. 5 pounds seems about right. They might actually last the month.

Stick to wrapper
These candies at some point have been exposed to heat. They have melted and stick to the inside wrapper. Very difficult to take out of the wrapper. Save your money and not purchase these.

Taffy
Great flavors. But not so soft. But I'll definitely buy again!

Great taste, but a couple drawbacks.
I buy taffy from the local grocery store delivery, which come in 1 pound bags. I saw this 5 pound Taffy Town Taffy bag on Amazon so I decided to try it. The local taffy I buy ends up being Taffy Town taffy, since it is wrapped with the same Taffy Town wrappers. The flavors are also pretty much the same. Both the Taffy Town taffy and the local taffy have the same problem. Some pieces are poorly wrapped causing some to stick to other pieces. I took the picture of the last few pieces when I was refilling my candy jar. There was a few pieces which had to be thrown out since they had leaked so much out of their wrapper and strongly stuck to other pieces that the taffy couldn't be separated easily from the paper. I decided to take a picture of the few pieces left which are not a big deal but as you can see it was the light orange taffy that was leaking and sticking to other pieces. The taffy I buy locally also seems to have 1 flavor that is wrapped poorly as well. I will continue to buy locally though, unless Amazon has a sale since both vendors have the same problem, and the taffy I buy locally is a little less expensive. If I didn't have it available locally though, I wouldn't hesitate ordering it again. I also think it would be nice if the taffy was packaged in a resealable bag.
