that is a great question. The grandson for whom I purchased the set was somewhat younger than you child and is on the short size. The clubs were too long for him to handle. I would think they would work for you child ....however, they are on the long side and that could be an issue ....

I ordered these a few months back and they were for a lefty. I needed for a right handed child and had to return them. They looked like very nice clubs for children.
