Psycho-Pictography: The New Way to Use the Miracle Power of Your Mind

Vernon Howard is my favorite writer ever! This book really helps to explain the proper course to take in life for your inner development and advancement. It even explains what the bible attempts to but is somewhat vague about. You basically have a false self and a true self. Your spiritual advancement depends on weakening the false self, through non-judgemental observation, thereby strengthening your true self. Once you are living from your true self you are always happy, free, etc. Have I reached this yet, no but at least I know I am on the right path at last (: Good luck to you too!

I have studied self actualization for a few years. This book is a very simple read and explains common principles in a visual way. In the week I have had the book, I have noticed changes and new perspectives. I can say that his teachings have expanded my perspective of things literally to new levels. Many other boooks and people say the same things as in the book. The book puts it in the visual perspective the brain understands. The Bible tells nothing but stories. Great motivators always have a great story to tell. When you think of something, it is done in a story even if it is short! I love the book for it's simplicity. It is so simple I can actually absorb more becaus of the ease of the content. I would ask to just try it! The simpleness is the genius behind it. There is nothing comlpicated about the Sun rising in the morning. The Sun feeds that which is deserving and perishes that which is not! It does some of the most complicated things known to man, yet no one really questions that it's still simple in their mind. Vernon's ideas appear to destroy that which is not worthy and grow that which is in as much ease as the Sun rising.....

Great book. It's a must have for everyone who wants to work on themselves. Great book. You can't put it down when you start it. I love it. I have gained some inner strength since I started reading this book. I feel very strong with a great mind power. I feel very empowered. This is a great weapon for life.

My all time favorite author is Vernon Howard. He brilliantly offers " the only way" to renew your mind and find peace. Most authors tell you what you need to do to gain that peace, but Vernon Howard"shows you how " to do it. Numerous friends of mine have received the greatest wisdom on earth and drastically changed their lives by applying the few simple principals that are outlined in every one of Howards numerous books. The basic insights are the same, but his parables enlighten your understanding and allow you to clear your mind and forever live in the present moment. After years of depression and mental anguish, I read Psycho- Pictography . In just five days,I stood on a new reality and have enjoyed continued happiness for the last thirty five years! I praise the work that he has shared with all humanity.He will forever change your perspective and give you a new life. I think that his books should be required reading in all schools. Vernon Howard wrote this book a very long time ago, but was spot on regarding the truth and how to deal with life's problems. Not a rah-rah self help book, not a novel, a reference to look up problems and how to deal with them throughout your life.

This book is a great introduction into the philosophy of Vernon Howard. If you are new to the idea of self awakening, or acquiring good mental health, this is a good place to start. Compared to his other books, "Mystic Path To Cosmic Consciousness, The Power of Your Supermind, and "Esoteric Mind Power", this book seems on a beginner level. But that's good if you've never read these other books. I could recommend this, then the other books in that order. The one and only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the "Mental Pictures" didn't appeal to me that much. Some people need analogies and metaphores to help them to grasp a concept, I just tend to want to get to the heart of the teaching. The whole book is based on the idea of visualizing these concepts in this way, and others may find this enjoyable. That is only a minor point, I do believe this book will ease you into the philosophy.

I stumbled across Vernon Howard after a lifetime of struggling with life, theorizing and reading silly books or books I did not understand. I have found him to be the most helpful and trustworthy writer of all. He is wise of course, but much more than that. He writes so simply that it is easy to gloss over a whole paragraph to your detriment. But if you back-up and read slowly it dawns on you, well me at least, that this man has tremendous understanding. OK, "so what" you might say. Well, when I look to my life post Vernon there is so much growth and change that I know he is for me.

the content of the book itself is a must read the author gives excellent images/impression on the mind to help the reader to get a saner and clearer vision of how to unlock his life and get success quite a consistent a book a must read!

I am into learning about how the mind works and how we can become aware of our thoughts. I find the information helpful and it is easy to read. The book is filled with stories to give you examples on each topic so you will have to understand the meaning in order to apply it to your situation. This calls for repeated reading of the material. If you're into this study or curious, I would recommend.
