Although this is a nut cracker, I use it to help remove corks from sparking wines. It fits perfectly. I keep it in my wine bag so that when we're at the Hollywood Bowl and the cork is stubborn, I have this tool to help. It works great and a lot less expensive than tools designed specifically for sparkling wines.
