My husband has been using this helmet for last 5 months every single day for 30 min. He never missed a day. Even when we traveled, he packed it with him and wore it as recommended. Sadly this item didn't help him even a bit, in my opinion he even lost more hair. We wish to be able to return it based on this experience but the return window closed 1 month after purchase. So we pretty much wasted money on this.

iHelmet Laser Hair Growth Helmet, FDA Cleared Low Level Laser Therapy, I am a big believer in light/laser therapy for my skin so in the long run I really think this will help with thinning hair. I have been using this for a week now and while it looks horrible while wearing it, it does feel really nice. I have a friend who uses a similar device for her thinning hair and over 6 months, she has had some regrowth to the point where she no longer has bald spots. It does take time and effort to get this to work. It is really easy to use and one charge will work for 90 minutes of treatment. I am using it every 3 days for 30 minutes at a time. There are small tabs to adjust the fit. I have a small head and I do need to use a pillow to position it properly. I do have doubt that this would work on someone that is completely bald but I think it is effective on thinning hair.

Soooo everyone in my family seems really excited to try this device out. I hope it's not like a gel polish lamp, they burn out completely after a certain amount of hours....hope there's enough hours in this to go around! SO, there really isn't a way to tell you at the moment if this works or not, but we are going to take before and after photos of my husband's bald spot. ( I guess this can take several months) We did do a little bit of research on this and there seems to be a lot of positives said about these types of devices, and for the price tag, I should really hope so.

It's heavy that after several minutes scalps is unconfortable. Problem is the battery and all its component is embedded to the product adding weight to already heavy helmet.

It actually makes my scalp break out.
