Based on earlier reviews, I was concerned that this gate may not work out; however, it’s excellent! The materials are high quality, the instructions were clear, and overall it was very easy to install, especially due to the flexibility for mounting options. Using a sledge hammer with piece of wood, we banged each side pole — using a level guided process — into the ground. The gate swings smoothly and is very solid.

I was impressed at the ease of putting this together and the quality of the finish. It’s a heavy gate. Don’t hesitate to buy it.

The gate itself is not bad quality, however, be prepared for headaches on the sturdiness when putting it together. The bolts and nuts were slightly too small, did not tighten snuggly and I had to purchase new hardware.

Corner brackets cannot be tightened and I contacted for help and all they did was send me additional poor design brackets with carriage bolts that can’t be tightened enough to grab onto bars of gate. I had to buy $30 worth of stainless hardware to fix correctly. I ask for a discount and never received anything.

The braces on the corners are made of plastic. When I tightened them, they cracked and the whole gate wouldn’t stay together. Shame…I like the look!!
