As a delivery courier on motorbike, I bought this camera in the hope it would provide some level of deterrence against aggression by gangs of youths, other road users and so on - particularly after an assault and a hit-and-run of which there was no evidence for the police to go on.The main selling point for me was the large battery. I needed something that would work at high image quality for the whole working day, capable of picking up registration plates and faces.In the hand, the camera has a sturdy rubberised feel and has so far withstood frequent showers and a few heavy downpours. The image quality is so good that to prolong the battery even further, I could get away with turning the resolution down a notch. The microphone does the job, picking up voices clearly from a distance but obviously isn't what you'd call studio quality.There are ample configuration options - different resolutions, with or without sound, video segment length, storage compression on or off, auto or manual IR, screen off timer, pre and post-record on or off and length, etc. All are easy to manage through the rear buttons.There is no removable SD card but getting the files off is as simple as hooking it up via USB, at which point the folder opens just like a pen drive. Drag off what you need and open with your preferred video editor.I wouldn't be without mine now - it has served me flawlessly for months and provided many incidents worth of footage to send to the police, one of which is currently being prosecuted.Big shout out to Boblov customer support too. I contacted them via Facebook messenger when the rear screen cover was broken by an attacker trying (and failing) to grab the camera off me. The camera worked but I feared it might need replacing since it was no longer waterpoof. That or it'd be a bodged self repair involving plastic and messy glues. To my delight, Boblov were able to quickly identify the part and dispatch it to me for a small delivery fee. Delivered fast, quick fix, camera restored to new condition and one happy chappy.

The Boblov bodycam is a great product for quality images. It can take photos or video and the colour is great. The night vision function works exceptionally well. Lasts a long time between recharges.The only annoying feature is the siren. It is very easy to press the wrong button therefore setting off the loud siren and blue/red flashing lights.I would have preferred if this could only be activated if say, two buttons had to be pressed together.Apart from that, it does everything it was designed to and does it well.

Worth nothing... One of the main disadvantages is that it does not have image stabilization technology... In fact, all BOBLOV body cameras do not have image stabilization technology, whether they are expensive or cheap... Using this camera as a car dash cam... the same problem again... there is no image stabilization technology... the whole recorded image shakes when the car moves... Watching footage really hurts your eyes, because you have to look hard and concentrate on the image... The camera itself is heavy compared to other cameras... So after attaching it to the magnetic rubu connector... there is a chance that the connector will slide down with the body cam down...

Its ready to go once you know what part of the M5 you wish to use such as, record video, take a picture or record a sound and understanding getting into the menu, the manual is the last thing I read. I would have like to see more controlling menus. When I put the power on I always seem to activate either of the 3 options. The camera is built well and sturdy that is let down by the placing of clamp on clothing so you dont know what images you would get. The option is your mobile phone V boblov and the body cam states you are ready. It's a good buy and you get to use it as a dash cam. Only wish it had wifi option to send recording direct to phone and or can use the phone wifi data.

Having been happy with the first one I bought although slightly different in operational mechanics, I needed to buy a replacement after it was stolen. I bought this one and was again impressed with it. There was a need to update the firmware which the support team sent. Due to my fault there were some misunderstandings about installation but once the team had explained what I needed to do it was really simple to update and it installed as expected. Overall I am pleased with the product, a bit loud at start up but ok, the video and picture quality is good. There is also an alarm button which the previous camera didn’t have so that is a bonus. The support team were very helpful, very patient and pleasant. I recommend this product.

It’s a very good bit of kit and works straight out of the box! Well worth the price. I have used BOBLOV before with a range finder for hunting and that was also fantastic.

Because of the cameras weight, it bounces around and will not stay aimed at the proposed subject area due to the movement. Used when static it is fine and pictures are of quite good quality

I have used this for a few days now and it is way too heavy. I’ve tried to attach this too many garments pockets and bags and it just weighs things down. The video quality is really great but that’s not good unless you can mount it somewhere that feels comfortable
