I’ve trained in a commercial gym for over 10 years.
I’ve trained with IFBB pros and amateurs alike in commercial gyms all over my area. I’m 6’2 and lift heavy, but I’m not a power lifter. This is what I have to say:I’ve been out of the gym for a year now due to COVID restrictions and our first baby. Knowing I probably won’t be able to return to a commercial gym due to my wife’s schedule and mine, I decided to finally buy some equipment. This cage stood out against the competition because of the pulley system. It’s one of a kind. The only other competitors would be some of the smith machine designs I saw. Other racks you can add a jframe extension to add in the cable flys but that takes up a lot of room I don’t have. The quality is good. I’ve gotten 2 workouts in. Very satisfied with my purchase.Shipping- the machine will have some scrapes. I’m not a gym equipment princess like some of the lesser star ratings. They probably wear lulu lemon and don’t train legs 🤭. 🤏This cage will serve most pedestrian usage. I have 300lbs in plates and intend on banging plates and maxing out.Hopefully Mikolo continues to make this cage. It serves a major gap in the market and the price and quality are perfect for beginner to amateur lifters.I’ll come back to update my review when I have more time on the machine.

Great Value! But not perfect
This is a great overall value. The quality of the machine is comparable to many in the $2500 range. I would say not gym quality but towards the high end for home gym equipment. @ $799 its a great deal. That said keep certain things in mind. The shipping can take several weeks, mine took 3.5 weeks. The packaging isn't great, expect to see a few scratches and scrapes, even a few bent parts that you will have to straighten. It you don't like that, don't order. For me it was worth it to get a really great machine for the price. It was missing one part, a cap on one of the pull-up handles. I contacted the seller and hope they will replace. If no, I will update my review and remove a star or 2.

Good value!
UPDATE: we wanted new cables so I asked the seller where we could purchase, and they sent them for free!! Amazing customer service.Honestly, price makes the small quirks worth it. This thing has EVERYTHING on it. Was it the best instruction manual for assembly? No... But we figured it out! The rack isnt roomy, but it works for us. Other than those two things, it's an amazing piece of equipment for a home gym.

Do not purchase!
I finally received this 2 weeks after it was supposed to arrive with no way of tracking the delivery. When it arrived both packaging boxes were mangled and torn open in multiple spots. The unit itself was only wrapped in thin plastic and has scratches and chipped paint everywhere and all the pulley housings were bent. The couple pages of instructions I received on how to assemble show the bolt dimensions that do not match what came with the unit, so its a guessing game as to which bolts should be used when assembling. The counter weight pulley system doesn't attach to the frame and the assembly directions give no explanation why - the rods are too short to reach the top and bottom frame of the rack. At the back of the instructions it provides an email for any services or questions but you can forget about getting a response back...ever!

Awesome Power Rack. Highly Recommend. Great seller. Updated 11-4-21
The power rack is fantastic. One of our original three boxes was damaged upon arrival and missing one of the uprights and a couple others were bent. The seller (Mikolo) immediately sent an entire new Box #1 with good parts. We put it together today and it works great. A couple of the pulley housings were slightly bent, but easily bent straight by removing the pulley and using channel locks. The rack is sturdy, but we will be drilling holes at all four corners and bolting into the concrete to solidify it even more. Both of the weight holders are strong and I don't see any issue with putting substantial weight (135+) on each of the sides of the holders. One of the other reviewers posted a video of the front uprights moving while he moved the cable, however there are bolts that go into the tops of each of these front uprights to hold them in place, which this reviewer apparently didn't put in. As other reviewers have stated, I agree that the instructions aren't the best, but they give you enough to get you through. The cables make this power rack incredibly versatile. My wife and I will now be spending a lot less time in the gym. Additionally, the seller provided excellent customer service. Highly recommend - for the price and versatility of this power rack, I don't see any other offerings that come close to this.Update, 10-19-21: We found while doing chest presses with the cables that the side with the foot holds prevented full articulation of the pulleys. We simply used a cut-off wheel to cut an inch or so off and it works great now.Update, 10-28-21: Verified that the cable system can withstand at least 300# with no problem.Update, 11-4-21: Leaving another update, I see this rack is cheaper than when we bought by a hundred bucks - hell of a deal. Anyway, I discoverd that the attachment for the landmine (see photo) bent with only two plates on there. Little difficult to tell from the picture, but the sleeve part is what bent. As soon as I felt it bend I stopped so as to not push it any further. I ended up purchasing an attachment from fitnessfactory (good for 500#). Still loving this power rack, though.
