If you have a c7 corvette this is going to rear it’s ugly head at some point. Rolled up to a stop sign one day and heard a clatter that sounded awful coming from under the hood. Get the car home and park it and had a little spot of oil underneath the next morning. Thought the worst right away. Started poking around under the hood and noticed this greasy little bugger was the source of my oil drip. A little research and found out that the tensioner has a little shock on it that goes bad. Ac delco part showed up a couple of days later and the install was pretty easy. Took it out for a test drive and it quieted down noises I had just taken for granted. Best price and fastest shipping I saw.

My belt tensioner was dying on my 2017 C7 and this did the trick. Installation is fairly easy and I recommend looking at a few videos' on YouTube. So if you have a leaking or whining tensioner this will fix the issue at a great price.

My 2014 Corvette developed the clacking sound many others reported. When I looked, my original belt tensioner was coated with oil so I pulled the trigger and purchased this to replace it. It is an exact match for the original (should be as an OEM part) and now the noise is gone. Time to go have more fun with the car!

Has GM markings, fits perfectly. Got rid of marbles in coffee can noise when engine switches to 4 cyl mode.
